  1. 0-2 in OT coin tosses this year
  2. Tucks it way too early
  3. This was really the first game all year I’ve thought the Bears were convincingly outplayed
  4. Bears defense has not at all been impressive in the 2nd half
  5. Come the hell on Bears get off the field
  6. I don't think it ends up mattering too much. Split the Rams/Packers home stand, and win the 49ers game, and that should do it. The Vikings are at Patriots and at Seahwaks the next two weeks. They would need to win one of those, and their final three games (including one against the Bears) to grab the division. It's not impossible, but it's a very tough ask. That's what was so big about beating the Vikings, it gave the Bears the cushion to lose one of these road games against the Lions/Giants/49ers. Everyone just assumed the Thanksgiving game was the one they were going to drop. Yeah they need 2 more wins for sure. I am mostly concerned that we don’t win either of the LAR/GB games. We could win both but neither are gimmes even with the Packers playing like butt. The talk after this one will be if Mitch was healthy enough to play. If he was, he should have played. Have to drive a nail in the coffin of the Vikings then maybe you can rest him week 17.
  7. If the Bears lose this how do you feel about the rest of the games? vs LAR - Bears can win this and might but more likely than not they lose 8-5 vs GB - Should win but I think the last time a competitive Bears team beat the Packers in a game they needed to have was in 2010. I’ll pick win but don’t feel great about it. 9-5 At SF - Win. Better be 10-5 At MIN - could be for the division. I have a hard time seeing a win though it’s certainly possible. 10-6 Bears margin of error is a lot less if we can’t come back. Edit: don’t mind me, I got some bad news this weekend and my pessimist side of me can’t be contained, nothing to see here
  8. How in the horsefeathers do you lose Odell Beckham in the end zone on 4th and goal? Holy horsefeathers the Bears are making a crap load of mistakes in this one
  9. What was the point of that timeout? Was the defense call not correct or something? My assumption was he figured 17 seconds was enough time that they'd hold them call, another TO and force a punt for a shot at a return TD. Apparently the concept of 47 seconds to have an actual drive for a FG was beyond the pale for Daniel. How many punts have the Bears taken back this year? Obviously the almost worst case scenario occurred but the potential benefit is not great
  10. Who feels confident about Chase Daniel leading the Bears to a 10 point 4th quarter comeback on the road?
  11. Defense is gassed and crumbling and we’re not even in the Vaunted 4th quarter yet
  12. So horsefeathering annoying. Stupid plays at the end of the half and now we’re losing
  13. I’m pretty sure kickers haven’t missed a 55+ yard FGA against the Bears since 1998 except the ones Hester and Vasher took back
  14. I see Nagy has Lovie’s ability to take timeouts that strategically aid the opponent
  15. [expletive] Mitch should be in there.
  16. Ok I can finally forgive him for dropping that INT against GB. He’s been really good since then
  17. Just let me get my doom boner out of the way with this post. I’ll be more rational I promise. Lose this game and the Bears have to go 2-2 against the Rams, Rodgers, at SF and at Minnesota to make the playoffs. I get the sense that Mitch could have started (he was throwing on the field pregame) but the Bears played if safe because of the position they are in. Not based on anything but gut feeling. If that’s true, I don’t think that was a smart move at all.
  18. and The chase Daniel party is over
  19. I kind of hope it happens for the fallout. I think it would speed up the playoff expansion discussions.
  20. That’s the best explanation I’ve heard
  21. His argument for picking O'Brien is that he turned an 0-3 team around to win 8 straight games. O'Brien was coaching those first 3 games too right?
  22. [tweet]https://twitter.com/chifanpatt1/status/1068251590337982464[/tweet]
  23. PTBNL or cash considerations. Gee I wonder which one PTR will go for
  24. This team is horsefeathering unreal. Sky’s the limit
  25. Not sure how reliable his sources are but he is saying that the Cubs aren’t going to be involved in FA at all, not even tier 2 guys. https://www.cubsinsider.com/2018/11/28/already-longshots-for-harper-cubs-might-even-avoid-next-tier-of-free-agents-with-eye-on-2020/
