Completely agreed. Except when I have 2 hours of back to back customer calls where I'm on video and I'm doing 90% of the talking like I have to tomorrow in the middle of the Cubs game ugh. Blame the dog barking when you have to mute suddenly. If things go poorly I might have to explain that I have Tourrette's

Reminds me of 07 and 08 Cubs. Offense just completely disappeared once the playoffs started. All I remember from those playoff games offensively was a Ward RBI double with the Cubs down like 6 runs, Geo Soto's 2 run HR in 07 and DeRosa's 2 run HR in 08

Marlins OPS against LHP is 100 points higher (.776) than it is against RHP (.673) This is no time to reward your buddies or someone who used to be a postseason stud. I heart Jon like everyone else here but come on. I do at least feel somewhat confident that he will be on a short leash, and if he is yanked we have solid options to cover innings. But it might be too late by then. I feel for Ross on that decision just because he's kind of between a rock and a hard place. Tossing out Mills or Alzolay, who are probably the next best 2 options in some order, for their first postseason start in that circumstance (for Alzolay it would be his 7th MLB start) would be a tough ask I would treat it as a bullpen game honestly. I think we have enough quality arms to get through 9 innings.
