    Umps really hate the Cubs. I like to pretend they also think it’s ridiculous that the Ricketts are so cheap so this is their way of showing their displeasure.

    Sox tie the game on a ground ball to where the 3B usually plays, a check swing IF single and a passed ball by our 3rd string catcher

    Cubs had 2 flyouts at Wrigley against the Sox that would have been home runs at GRate, one directly costing the Cubs a win. Now Schwindel hit a double here that would have been a HR at Wrigley and ends up being stranded.

    Schwindel is one of the worst 1B I’ve ever seen at picking throws that bounce. Like it’s glaringly bad

    Stroman with 1 baserunner allowed in 4 innings. Cubs have a little more success against Cease but haven’t scored yet. Also for those that don’t visit the minor league forum but keep track of the minors it looks like Velazquez is coming up to Chicago

    I didn’t know Cueto was on the Sox. Most of us probably won’t watch but in case something worth discussing happens here you go. A team has swept the season series only twice since they started playing in 1997: 1998 Cubs swept the Sox 3-0 at Wrigley 2013 Cubs swept the Sox 4-0 with 2 games in each location. Sox are up 2-0 with 2 to play

    I mean I guess its fine to give them credit, but we're talking about them doing something that like 25 other teams are also doing. Yes it would be very Cub like to be one of the handful of teams not doing it though I guess as the Cubs seem completely incapable of doing the right thing. Not gonna tell you how to interpret this, but only 11 teams were doing both(EXST pay, own bedroom in every affiliate) according to the Twitter account: https://twitter.com/MiLBAdvocates/status/1529972093047169027/photo/2 My bad, I just read the tweet where it said the Brewers and Reds were 2 of the few teams.
