Any reason for the odd start time? When is the last time a non-national TV game has started at 3:05?

Stupid question, but no love for Montanez yet? I know he has tons to prove yet, and one good season vs. several bad ones does not make a top prospect, but he's finally moving back up in the system again and is having a great year. Shouldn't he be at least an honorable mention especially considering how fast most prospects rise or fall on people's lists (Richard Lewis comes to mind) over the course of one season.

And its not an option I guess. Pujols goes yard. Game. Over. He's good
  4. UMFan83
Man, I can't believe I'm half cheering for Pujols to get a hit
  5. UMFan83
Too bad he had to leave the game ;)
  6. UMFan83
So what are you trying to say??? This could be your best NSBB auction yet ;)
  7. UMFan83
Geez, now Zito is a hit machine.

OMG. I am a Michigan fan, but the 95 Northwestern team was something for the ages. In fact, that team was what got me into college football in the first place. They never should have lost to Miami (OH) and should have been undefeated going into the USC game. Oh a related note, anyone have a scouting report on this Duke guy. What does he throw, how long has he been in the majors, etc.?

OK, I'll admit, I copied the home team wrong on the linescore. I like having the winning team listed on top so I manipulated it to my benefit But everything else is wrong

except it isnt.... Texas 0 0 3 Oakland 7 8 0 Oh no, sportsline lies!

I know its completely in our best interest to root for the Cardinals here, but I just can't do it. Just someone win and I'll deal with it at a later date

    In other non-jinxing news, the following is the linescore for the Oakland-Texas game: Bot 7 in Oakland Oakland - 7 7 0 Texas - 0 0 1

You think 5 wins in a row is a lot? Try winning 15 in a row, which would only offset your two biggest losing streaks of the year. Bums.

Cool, Iowa gets 2 in the 8th to take the lead and JVB gets the save as the Iowa Cubs win 3-2. I like this minor league stuff :) BTW: Corey 0-3, SB, HBP Dubois 2-4 RBI

Hopefully? My friends have gone down at game time the last two games and gotten tickets no problem for face value. You should have no worries. Just get there closer to gametime if you want to get them around face.

Welcome to my world, I have been feeling the same way since the Cubs got Nomar and regressed into suckatude shortly after. I have no faith for this team to play like the contenders they are built to be. Sure little winning streaks like this increase the optimism a bit, but mostly I wait for the other shoe to drop, because every single time in the past 2 seasons (or you could argue 97 years), it has
  17. UMFan83
Oh well, at least we will jump the Mets and maybe the Astros
  18. UMFan83
The Jaxx game was PPD due to rain. Looks like we'll have to wait ANOTHER day for them to be back in action...
  19. UMFan83
Looks like Corey is 0-1 but reached and stole a base. Rich Hill gave up a solo HR, 1-0 Omaha in the second right now
  20. UMFan83
Remember 7-8-9's like: Gonzalez-Bako-Clement. This is so much better lol

He's the pitching equivelant of Corey Patterson *ducks* (only kidding...) no he isn't he's white. No way will Chicago turn on him like it has our players the past 4 years. Are you implying Cubs fans are racist? kinda makes one wonder. Alf Sosa Hawkins Patterson but as pointed out Hundley got it bad. But we also loved Sosa (when he was good), gave Alou a break when he sucked in 2002 and stretches of the next two years despite a big contract. We hated Alf, Sosa, Hawkins, Patterson because they sucked We also hated Estes when he sucked too

Are we allowed to still rip on the Cubs for sucking after the game has started ;)

^^ doubt you'll be able to convince our pitch count experts here :)
