Giles is an OBP machine. The Cubs had the highest BA and SLG in the NL last year but were like 9th in runs. You do the math to determine what the missing link was. So far the moves the Cubs have considered are lateral. The Cubs don't have a clue what they are doing. Please prove me wrong. -
Like Andy Dolan said at Desipio today: Lee wins the Silver Slugger award for being the best hitting 1B in the NL. Lee wins the Gold Glove award for being the best fielding 1B in the NL. Yet another NL first baseman wins the MVP award. Its a freakin sham.

Probably just a precaution in case Furcal doesnt sign and Nomar stiffs the Cubs. A terrible terrible option that would end up costing Hendry his job. At least he hit a GW WS HR once...

Well because of the conditions of the game, this is really a terrible tuneup for the Carolina game next week. Hopefully we hold on here and Orton learns how to overthrow people and still get pass interference calls.

This sucks for the rest of the D besides Vasher. All they've done is thrown the niners for a loss all game and then they have to spend about 10 extra plays on the field and give up 3 points because of stupid plays. Vikings winning, Lions winning, Wade sucks. Could be a long day

How do you figure? Michigan won fair and square Carr complained and they unjustly added two seconds to the clock. Time doesn't stop when the team calls timeout, it stops when the official calls it. Michigan won the game on a play with one second left. How do you know 2 seconds weren't miscounted at some point earlier in the game? It probably happens in almost every game. Enough so that 2 random seconds added at the end doesnt really factor in the decision. Penn State still should have stopped them and they didn't. -

Is it possible he's getting back into game mode after missing half of the season? I agree he is not ready yet though, not at all.
