  1. Reggie Miller's GW 3 pointer and prior take down of MJ in game 4 of the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals was a horrible horrible call. Also, Reggie could barely walk before his miraculous push off, sprint around 3 pointer I hate Reggie and the Pacers
  2. Any Bears fans, does this sorta remind you of the Bears 2001 season? Lose the first game (0-9 start) then go on a huge hot streak (17-9) Right now we are at the point where we have back to back amazing come from behind wins against the 49ers and the Browns. Hopefully the playoffs turn out better!! And no tippin Ben Gordon....just wow. You can stiff me for a tip anytime! Wow this thread is turning into a game thread Anyone looking for good Bulls message boards? http://www.basketballboards.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=27 or http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewforum.php?f=10&sid=bcf78ef7f097a38d0181bcda98079b65 I post at the former
  3. Where is BG? Turnovers are killing us and Kirk is looking for the dimes for his triple double
  4. LOL! Tyson Chandler is so DAMN intimidating http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/photos?photoId=665255&gameId=250115004
  5. So I got the video of the last plays if anyone wants them PM me, or preferably IM me at UMFan83 and I'll direct connect them to you
  6. I have someone sending me the MPeg (hopefully) on a Bulls forum of the last few plays of the game. If anyone is interested in recieving a copy, I'll let you guys know if/when I get it and will send it to people who PM me.
  7. I disagree. We haven't talked about it in six years. It's good to gave a little excitement. I also disagree about the "As good as we've played...." statement. Truth is, we haven't played that well in a few games, and we still won them. And while our defense is pretty good, our offense has a lot of room to improve. (especially turnovers.) Considering that these are young guys (Duhon, Gordon, Luol), I look for them to get better, and, consequently, the Bulls to play better. My two concerns are that extended road trip and the fact that our rookies may hit a wall eventually, given the season is so much longer than the college season. I would just rahter not get my hopes up only to be disapointed. I have done that too many times in my life *cough2004cubscough* to want to do it again. I've watched every game on WGN this year through thick and thin to steal a phrase and I have supported this team through the bar years. They have played awesome, but I don't want to be disapointed if they fail. That said, GO BULLS!
  8. Guys please stop talking about playoff positioning for a bit, lets worry about getting there. As good as we've played, we can't play at this high level all year...
  9. We'll know how well they match up with the Knicks after Monday
  10. Doesn't have the same ring as No Tippin' Pippen. ;) Gordon with 29!! I have 98-66 with 6:09 in the 4th quarter - I'm following the game on GameCast as always (actually, CT directed me to NBA Courtside Live at nba.com - it's faster than ESPN). What has gotten into Ben Gordon? I absolutely hated him in college. Up until last year, he had shown to be cocky and have horrible shot selection. Once he hit his third three in the 4th, he was looking for a 3 everytime the Bulls took it up the floor. He's a good player but I didn't like that one bit. Anyone wanna goto Bar Louie and watch him stiff a few waitresses? BTW, I was at the game with Mark tonight, probably the most exciting Bulls gave I've been to, INCLUDING the Jordan years. This speaks from about 30 games experience.
  11. Well I've swallowed the Kool Aid and purchased tickets to the second Bulls game in 10 days (Wednesday vs. Philly). My hope is that this is the game where the Bulls over take the Sixers for the 8 seed and never relinquish it
  12. He has really struggled shooting some nights, but when he is in the game he has the intensity and hustle that was a lot of the praise given to him early on. I also think he is still adjusting to the American game, but he actually gets to a lot of rebounds at times put on a good scoring display.
  13. The Bulls have really settled into some pretty defined roles. I especially enjoy the roll that Tyson Chandler is on. Obviously this guy is not an offensive force and we all have given up on that. I don't even care, this guy plays great D nowadays. He swats a lot of balls, and you can count on him for 9+ boards per game. He has definitely earned a spot in the starting rotation, and with Deng, Hinrich, Curry and Gordon getting the points, who needs Tyson to score?
  14. I'm one of the biggest Curry detractors out there, and when I was at the UC on Monday night from my last row seat, I could see how much this team really needed Eddy Curry if merely for inside presence alone. Othella Harrington shooting 10 times isn't a recipe for winning #-o Yeah, the crowd was pretty scared everytime someone other then Hinrich, Deng or Gordon shot the ball. The crown reaction when Noccioni shot a 3 in the third quarter. "NOOOOOOO!!.....YEAH!!!!" as he hit it We really needed Currys physical presense in there on Monday. Too bad Chandler is not that answer despite being over 7 feet
  15. Just thought I'd mention that Mark_R and I are headin to the Bulls/Pistons game tomorrow night at the UC. I'll possibly bring my digi and take pics
  16. We could really make the playoffs....no seriously
  17. Mr. Hyde shows up, Bulls lose on the National TV Edit: Wait which is the one that's bad?
  18. When the Bulls are good they are damn good.... Too bad they don't reach that moment of Zen too often
  19. I think the Bulls last night showed exactly what you'll get from them this season, a whole lot of inconsistantly. The Nocioni signing was awesome. I listened to one of the preseason games on the radio and it was crazy how fans at the beginning of the game were like 'who are you', and by the end of the game they were giving him a standing ovation. He didn't look too good on D from what I saw of the game, but he does hustle and play a really good style of basketball. My prediction is the Bulls finish 35-47 as long as the bottom doesnt fall out early.
  20. I'm confused. Rocket, I love the sig. "I likea table tennis, ummm shoot dog..."
  21. Jason Dubois should be our starting LF next year. I''m in
  22. Sweet it works! Edit: 4321
  23. 3$%$#*%@!*(@!!!^$#)T$#(%$#@)!)!!! WOW! You are amazing. I can watch these via MLB.tv at MLB.com, but having them on my hard drive is 100 times better
  24. It's funny but I remember that too. Didn't that break a window too?
