    You know Rammy is hitting better....might be a good time to move him up to 3-4. Then again, as I often mention, when your 1-2 hitters excel at not getting on base, having him hit behind Barrett and Walker isn't bad.

    That throw to third by Wood looked like something the 2004 Cubs would do. Question, if the pitcher commits an error, are those runs considered earned or unearned?

    Walker's power comes in bunches, so I still firmly expect him to hit 15 HRs this year. Theres just something about Walker that IMO baseball insiders don't like about him. They probably think he can't shut up. I still find it interesting that after the postseason that he had with Boston in 2003, they didn't attempt to resign him. Even more interesting that he played the nice guy 'I signed with the Cubs as a backup because I want to win" when the Cubs signed him. Anyways, I am not trying to rip on Walker, I like him and am just throwing out wild speculation.

    Carlos Zambrano and Andres Nocioni are easily my 2 favorite athletes....EVER. My friends and I were discussing what sort of reaction Z would have had if he completed the no hitter. Some of the ideas we came up with: - Z would point to the sky and calmly walk off the mound - Z would point to the sky and start dancing around in circles like he was doing a spanish 'ole' dance - Z would clench his fist in victory with a really intense look on his face saying swear words in Spanish for about 5 minutes (most likely scenario) Any ideas?

    The only thing that the Cubs should be thinking about is tomorrows game. It's really heartbreaking to win 5 of your last 7 and still remain 10 games under .500. Just keep winning and maybe we can get our hopes up again. Long way to go though.

    Those oilers are nuts! Normally I'd cheer for the Whalers, but I always cheer for the Canadian team unless the Blackhawks are in it (snicker snicker)
