All I’m saying is that if the Cubs sweep the distracted Braves and the Cardinals play spoiler and sweep the Brewers we can control our destiny for the division again 😂 -
And to add to why it felt more significant than a normal play, the players started their handshake line and Go Cubs Go played long enough to get to the refrain before the umps got together and ruled it foul. Felt like we won the game, then all the sudden we were right back into super tense tying run on second baseball.

Delay of game lmao. im sorry, Eberflus needs to be fired tomorrow and I don’t think I’m overreacting. Everything on this team is completely broken and they are embarrassing themselves out there. You couldn’t possibly look worse out there. Then there’s the off the field stuff, the fact that our QB has regressed and is worse than he was his rookie year. They are making a complete mockery of this franchise.

Chiefs score 19 and 17 points their first 2 games. Score 14 in the first 3 drives against the Bears. I know the Chiefs are uber elite and the first 2 weeks are a blip but still very funny. So glad we hired a defensive head coach. Really helping on both sides of the ball

Astros lose again, increasing their chances that they will have to fight all of next weekend at home against Arizona to make the playoffs. That was a very very scary 90 seconds or so. Had visions of 2023 Brant Brown like play that we’d talk about for years. Of course we recovered from Brant Brown to make it but still.
