    20 more minutes until round 2. I think the Hawks need to score 1 in the third, because I am almost 100% sure that Nashville will score in the 3rd. That's just been how this series has gone. In fact, I'm willing to bet they score within the first 4 minutes of the period.

    See plays like that by Hossa are why people who look at a box score and see he only has 1 goal in this series and say he's a choker should shut up.

    Yeah and if they kill this the momentum goes to them. Meh, after this there will be 2 minutes until intermission. If we can hold them off until the end of the 2nd, the intermission should kill most of that momentum.

    There is not a more tense moment in sports for me right now than when a puck is loose in the crease and the goalie is down and theres a group of players (from both teams) hovering around it trying to get control.

    What the hell was with that?!?!?! Hawks had a 2 on 1 going, and they blew it dead to give a penalty on the Preds??

    Preds really coming out strong in the 2nd period.

    I don't know, at this point I am throwing all conventional thinking out the window. I have no idea what to expect from either team the rest of the series. Every time I think we've burried the Predators, and they are done, they come back. They are indeed a really resilient bunch.

    This is so like Vancouver game 6 last year, except its happening in the 1st not the 3rd. This is not playoff hockey. Niemi and the defense need to get their [expletive] together between periods. Too many decent chances, and very few big saves by Niemi.

    I went from relaxed, to tense to now pessimistic in a span of like 30 secs. AND THEN HAPPY AGAIN. Jeez 7 goals in this first period? Is this Vancouver game 6 all over again?

    God dammit, we couldn't even get out of the period without blowing the lead? We got a lucky fluke goal and other breaks and its still tied. Nashville now has all the momentum.

    Rinne vacated the net right off a faceoff anticipating a dump in off the boards. Instead Seabrook's dump in went right on goal, and Rinne couldn't get back in time. That's a Not Top 10 play on ESPN.
