    The Sharks are definitely the most talented team we've faced this year. Just watching the first 25 minutes has gained me a lot of respect for our opponents.

    We're making a "push" but we havent been able to get any good attempts on goal.

    Plus, you know they were going to come out firing. I say we've withstood the rush of the momentum of a home team playing in their first Western Conference final game. Hopefully we can tie it and take control. I don't know if this is what you meant by "first" but the Sharks have been in the WCF before. But it's possible you meant first in this series.

    I guess being down 1-0 after 1 period on the road after spending 6 minutes of the period shorthanded isn't the worst result in the world. There is definitely room for improvement though.

    I'm glad the announcers did that. Two less minutes for me to stress over an upcoming PP. HOW DID U MISS THAT TOEWS?? This team cannot hit an open net for the life of them.

    We haven't been able to do anything smoothly so far. And yet I don't think we are playing all that badly. Couple of concern areas but I will say our passing has been crisp and we've done a decent job winning puck battles in the SJ zone. SJ has definitely gotten the better chances thus far.

    Sometimes we just get too fancy when the situation calls for just clearing the puck into the neutral zone as soon as possible.

    I think it's odd too. I honestly want to care more. I just can't. Like I said, I watched every game in 2006. I was going to games in late September, as other NSBBers can attest to. I lived in New Hampshire in 2002, but I always watched a game when it was on ESPN. I never thought I'd feel this way, because I'm always big on being a fan that is with the team through thick and thin, and I still am. I just can't muster up enough interest to watch them.
