  1. Don't ever do that again. I can't hide my genius. My other thought was... "whoops he left Scal in for 10 minutes and the opponents went on a 15-2 run, another Thiba-D'oh"
  2. Hey SSR, did you flip out pretty much every single time Scalabrine got burn for the C's over the last 4-5 years even when half the time he didn't even really do anything bad? My theory is that he just looks so incredibly unfit to play basketball let alone any sort of athletic competition that he always looks like he's messing something up with his awkward looking out of shape ginger body. Edit: by no means do I think he should be playing the minutes tubadough (ok I've been saving that one for the first time he pissed me off) has been playing him, but half the time on RealGM (myself included) i've seen posters yelling at him for playing like 3 consecutive minutes of a game.
  3. Cleveland response to the LBJ commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvgD9HNTMkM&feature=player_embedded
  4. Those that are bitching about the Bulls defense being at fault for all those made 3's most likely didn't watch the game. Yes there were some uncontested 3's, some that we were late getting a hand up etc, but it was also a lot of "nice we forced them into a fadeaway 3 as the shot clock is expiring....oh [expletive] they made it again" There was a stretch where it was just raining 3's. Every time up they'd jack up a 3 and it would swish. I think they missed 3 of their last 5 threes when the game was pretty much over, so the numbers when the game was actually winnable were staggering. 14-19 is insane.
  5. Im hijacking this into my dumb questions about Twitter that I don't understand because I'm not a twitterphile How come sometimes I'll go to someone's page and it will say their latest post was made "less than 5 seconds ago", when clearly it wasn't. I'll come back 20 minutes later and it will say the same thing. Is that something you can select on your tweets to make it look like its fresh content?
  6. Man Angel has been with this organization for so long. It's kind of hard to believe he's only contributed to the ML club for maybe 2 seasons, 2007 where he spot started for awhile and 2009 when he was the 7th inning guy behind Marmol and G****. I remember Peter Gammons pimping Guzman on Baseball Tonight back in 2003.
  7. Shoot I meant to say that it was a quote from Martz. Pretty obvious though.
  8. lol I was gonna say, if the Cubs are going to hire their farm director to fill the AAA manager as well, we might as well be in panic mode because the team is in deep financial trouble.
  9. We'll make it but it's going to be a struggle. Remember when we laughed at the Red Wings last year for struggling to make the playoffs until they got hot down the stretch? I can't believe we won't make the playoffs. No. I won't believe it until I see it. I didn't say that. I'm just seeing a 6-7 seed is becoming that much more likely as the season plays on. I think he was more addressing dexter's original quote.
  10. If he finishes the race, or dies trying to run it, you know there's gonna be a movie about it.
  11. Nady? Nick Johnson does at least have some upside, so if you are going to spend big somewhere else there is at least a logic to it. No, I agree. I'd love Nick Johnson if I was promised he could play at least 120 games. I've always been a big fan of him. The problem of course is that he's played only 195 games over the last 3 seasons, so averaging 65 games per season. Also not sure what other position we're going to be spending big in if not 1B. Unless its like Lee or Crawford. Or maybe I'm thinking too big.
  12. Sweet so who is going to start at first the other 135 games?
  13. They're backup centers being compared to the likes of Omer Asik and Kurt Thomas's decayed corpse. asik has been really good so far Not to turn into a Bulls discussion, but he has. But he's also a foul machine, has no offensive moves, can get pushed around and can't make a FT to save his life (might be the worst in the entire NBA). I just wonder how much longer until teams adjust for him and box him out for boards, and foul him everytime he attempts to make an offensive move.
  14. There's only so much you can blame on injuries. I don't see the level of play that I am accustomed to from our healthy guys either. I know its easy to say teams have tons of heart when they are winning and no heart when they are losing, but sometimes it looks like they are just going through the motions. No positive or negative emotion shown out there. Even Q doesn't seem to upset in his PCs
  15. I may have worded that strangely but the tickets would be free. check your pms
  16. look I completely agree with the Angelo hate in general and because of this statement, but in his defense, I don't think the Bears picked up Adams expecting him to be a big contributor that year. They hoped he could, which is why they made a trade in season for him instead of waiting until the offseason when he might have been cut, but I think they were more or less thinking long term with that trade with Ogunleye becoming a FA after the year. But then he randomly died so...
  17. I really don't think this about a lack of talent either. Something is just missing with this team
  18. Everything is a struggle with this team. Scoring preventing goals everything. No swagger anymore.
  19. Sweet another regulation home loss. I guess were making up for only having 8 last year. Is that 5 or 6 now this year?
  20. Oh. Good luck in your future baseball endevors Ryno.
  21. Same here actually. I had to read it a second time.
  22. First thing I did when I heard Moss to Titans was rush to google to find the Titans remaining schedule begging to God that the Titans had a game in New England or Minnesota in the last 9 weeks of the season. Unfortunately, they have neither. We can always hope for playoffs, assuming Moss is still a Titan at that point.
  23. I was on that bandwagon, but then I heard on Comcast last night that the Hawks are only 1 GB last years pace at this point. Not saying we're as good as last years team, but it tells me that 14 games isnt a definite look at how good you'll be through 50 games or 80 games.
