As bad as he's been...its been one quarter. He will play better than this....hell we've seen him play better than this. 1 quarter out of 24 that we will start Hanie.

Stupid Zack Zaidman spent the entire week talking about how there's no way we do worse than 3-3. Hanie isgoing to have to play significantly better if the Bears want to go 3-3. Time to completely dumb down the offense.....but is it possible to dumb down the offense with a horrible offensive line that constantly puts you at 1st and 15 or 2nd and 9

Dammit, I sold myself on Hanie throughout the week. It's like I forgot what just about every Bears QB besides Cutler has looked like for the last 50 years.

Exactly....not that the INT wasnt awful, but that play never happens if the refs correctly rule that an incomplete pass.

Raiders have had perfect play calls....they sold out on the run on the first down of both drives and stuffed Forte, leading them to have to throw on 2nd and 3rd down. Doesn't look like Martz is calling anything where Hanie might pass it more than 10 yards upfield. The result is really stale ineffective offense.

Man they rush 8 and Hanie isnt allowed to check out of the run up the middle. 4 yard loss

Didn't like the Bears playcalls the first 3 and out possession. A run up the middle is the most predicable thing ever when you are starting an unproven backup QB for the first time.

Well after all that excitement yesterday, its looking like the BCS won't have Michigan in the top 14 this week. Michigan is 16 in the coaches poll just released. I guess they still have a shot but I think UM has to root for MSU to win the Big Ten Championship so that Wisconsin goes below UM. Edit: This is what I just read:

Things are really starting to derail for Detroit. It's like they finally remembered they're the Lions. I saw on the Fox pregame show that the Lions basically confronted on Friday Suh and gave him hell for his BS. Later that day he made the public apology. Also, supposedly lots of players on other teams called into the league office to complain that Suh deserves to be suspended.
