  1. It wasn't Hawks and Wings in 61 was it? No, I think the O6 era ended in 1968. Last O6 matchup was 1979, Habs and Rangers I believe
  2. Terrible turnover leads to a goal
  3. They probably want to make sure they have enough proof to win an appeal. If they suspended all of them and they all won their appeals it would be incredibly embarrassing to the league and no one would take their PED program seriously.
  4. Also, I'm not presuming anything, but anyone want to take a guess at when the last time two O6 teams faced off in the SCF? Edit: It's only happened 6 times since the league expanded beyond the O6
  5. Walkom on the ice tonight to help officiate the game.
  6. At this point? I'd say this series would be a more surprising sweep most because Boston has the next 2 at home.
  7. Man this is a big game. Obviously we only need to win one of the next two but a win by LA tonight builds up the "LA is invincible at home" thing.
  8. And here are the 6 interleague matchup combos that have never happened as of this moment. They are all scheduled to happen this season. Braves @ Royals Dodgers @ Yankees Rays @ Dodgers Cubs @ A's Rangers @ Cardinals Cardinals @ Angels Also, the Twins have never visited Washington in interleague play but did play in Montreal. They will play in Washington later this month.
  9. Just for fun: the number of (non playoff) games played against each AL opponent: Houston - 705 White Sox - 93 Minnesota - 24 Kansas City - 18 Detroit - 17 Cleveland - 14 Texas - 12 Boston - 9 Yankees - 9 Seattle - 9 Toronto - 9 Angels - 8 (after this week) A's - 6 Orioles - 6 Rays - 6
  10. Angels were here in 2010, which is their only visit to Wrigley Field. This is only the second time the Cubs have visited LAA. Coming into this season, the Angels were tied with the Orioles, A's and Rays as teams the Cubs have played the least in interleague play (6 games). The Cubs will play the A's later this season in their first ever appearance in Oakland.
  11. Other than the fact that the first 2 games were at home this year, this series has started out rather similar to the Sharks WCF in 10.
  12. LMAO http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=BTg9seTbxiU
  13. oh man, Sharp did everything but put that in.
  14. This is the first time we've had a multiple goal lead prior to the 3rd period since the Wild series I think.
  15. damn i might be able to catch Mad Men live tonight. ok ok I'm kidding I'm not going to bail out on the Hawks in a playoff game just because they are dominating.
  16. holy [expletive], I was not expecting that! Quick giving up softies now
  17. Damn Kane is such a good passer
  18. Guess Seabs and Fraser aren't Mario Kart buddies anymore
  19. We are kind of playing terrible right now.
  20. I was overconfident after the Hawks took a 1-0 lead against Detroit in Game 2
  21. No? I loved that story though. Whats the real deal? I think 1985 against the Oilers in the playoffs
  22. That was [expletive] beautiful Fantastic pass by Stalberg and great shot by Shaw
  23. The Hawks? Yeah this is the first although in the first round Games 6 and 7 were scheduled for back to back nights but we never got that far. I believe the ECF has a back to back scheduled somewhere in the series as well. In this case the back to back was scheduled because the Stones played the UC on Friday and have another concert on Monday.
