  1. lol Frolik just missed another one
  2. FROLIK!! Wait...Frolik? There are those juicy rebounds I was waiting for in Game 1
  3. Good start. Too bad Kaner kicked that one in.
  4. Not a big deal but there's a playoff thread.
  5. Yeah maybe he get get them to bleed so we can profit off their blood.
  6. Espn's Jon Greenberg had an exchange on Facebook talking about how Rose was seen partying at Lumen last night after the Bulls loss. An eyewitness said Rose and his crew looked like they had "just won the championship" Lol
  7. You've got to be [expletive] kidding me. I can't imagine what you'd be like if you were fan of one of the many teams that has been consistently far worse than the Cubs for the past 20 years. It's more than just losing. It's coming to the cusp of winning so many times and failing every time. The only comparable recent situation is the 2011 Rangers World Series. awesome
  8. Not let it out that team doctors cleared him to play. Defend his decision more aggressively. Say its partially a team decision. They (at least Thibs) has said repeatedly that they are 100% behind Rose and will welcome him back when he's ready.
  9. I know....I keep telling myself to collect the best quotes from RealGM but I'm too lazy.
  10. It's gonna have to be another MJ Flu game because Nate has caught the mysterious bug that Deng and Taj have and is now questionable.
  11. It will be hard for Suter to keep logging that much TOI. A loss in OT has to be about the worst possible scenario for the Wild in game one. They don't have the depth to sustain success if their top lines and pairings are getting double shifted. He had 31 minutes in regulation. He did lead the NHL in average TOI in the regular season, something like 26-27 mins per game. It's a short season so I could see him logging that much, but over time he will probably be less effective.
  12. I [expletive] love it. It's been beautiful out and I've been able to go to the past two. Might make it 3 for 3 tonight (probably not, though - all the beer and hot dogs are going to take a toll). I love night games so much more. May not be traditional for Wrigley, but I love the way the stadium looks at night, plus I love having something to watch when I come home from work.
  13. I know this is just a mockup, but I hope they don't waste jumbotron space with the inning-by-inning linescore when the same thing is up on the actual scoreboard. Unless they take the Cubs off the original scoreboard so that they can fit another game on it, since I believe the scoreboard doesn't have enough space for a full slate of games.
  14. Haha I doubt that any team in the NHL cheers when the opponent is one of the 3 stars. Especially in a playoff game. Also, regarding the Wild fans, I'm going to guess they all think they can win the series now?
  15. This is what I fear EVERY TIME the goalie leaves the crease I was panicking when Craw lost his goalie stick yesterday and it ended up all the way in the corner and had to go retrieve it as play was going on.
  16. That was [expletive] beautiful
  17. [expletive]. Kill this
  18. Hope it goes as long as Game 1 vs. Calgary in 2009 with the same result. Was that Havlat? It was
  19. Hope it goes as long as Game 1 vs. Calgary in 2009 with the same result.
