    Weird but they posted spreads for the first 16 weeks of the season at Cantor Gaming....heres a look at the early spreads for Bears games Bears (-3) vs. Bengals Bears (-2.5) vs. Vikings Bears (+2.5) at Steelers Bears (+1) at Lions Bears (-1) vs. Saints Bears (-2.5) vs. Giants Bears (+1.5) at Redskins Bears (+4) at Packers Bears (-3) vs. Lions Bears (PK) vs. Ravens Bears (-1) at Rams Bears (+1.5) at Vikings Bears (-3) vs. Cowboys Bears (-1.5) at Browns Bears (PK) at Eagles

    Wouldn't have faulted him at all for missing the game tonight, but definitely awesome of him to make it back. Now stop turning the puck over in the defensive zone.

    Bolland and Emery both practiced yesterday but neither will play tonight. At least it looks like Bolland is making progress...

    That starting staff also had Don Wengert in the rotation near the end of the season because someone got hurt and he was awful. 1-5 as a starter. The worst was Mike Morgan. I went to a game he started in September, and by the 5th inning the Cubs were down 10-2. Of course then the Cubs came back with 10 in the last 3 innings aided by Sosa's 60th HR and won on a Orlando Merced walkoff HR and it was one of the best live sports moments for me ever (along with Z's no-no and the Bulls 3 OT win over Boston)

    im really glad the broadcasts don't stop the broadcast to air 'go cubs go' after every home win anymore. It was getting embarrassing to watch all the idiot fans go wild when their 100 loss team managed to win one.

    I'm surprised that they didn't put LeBron on Nate during the last few possessions

    I remember Bernstein suggesting that to be a likely scenario, but I don't know if it was ever close to happening. There was a report at some point close to the deadline that this was what the Bulls were going to do. Like you said though, not sure how likely it ever was though.

    Deng didn't travel to Miami and is out for Game 1. All because someone botched the spinal tap apparently.

    He deserved it after losing game 7 to a team that played Marquis Teague at the point and Daequan Cook at the 2 in non-garbage time minutes He deserved it years ago. He was a bad coach when Sprewell choked his ass. They played really well under him when he took over during the regular season. He had to go to the Easter Conference Finals to keep his job and they didn't have the talent to do that. dude has never won a playoff series and that blows my mind because he's been around forever.

    9 of the last 11 Blackhawks playoff games have gone into OT. Games 6 and 7 against Vancouver, Games 1-5 against Phoenix and Games 1 and 3 this year.

    Why is Harding wearing a helmet with an empty Target Field painted on it? I'm guessing it has something to do with the outdoor game there next year, but I thought it was odd.

    It just sucks that we can't even really challenge Minnesota's backup barely played goaltender.

    like has there even been a 2-3 shift stretch where the Hawks carried play since the first 5-6 mins of the game? I cant even remember any particularly great scoring chances for Chicago in the last 40 minutes or so.

    Minny has gotten 32 of the last 43 SOG in this game.
