  1. I'm sorry bears you aren't allowed to try to strip the ball if you can't tackle them to begin with
  2. If the temperature drops below 16 degrees by game time, as its expected to, it will be the coldest regular season game in Cowboys history. Of course anyone with knowledge of football history knows that it won't be the coldest game, playoffs included, in Cowboys history.
  3. Gonna look back on the Washington and Minnesota losses when this season is over. You win those games that they should have won, they make the playoffs. I think we've discussed this before but we just as easily could have lost the first Minnesota game, the Cincinnati game, the Ravens game, etc. You could make an argument that every game could have gone the other way except the first Lions game, the Saints game and maybe the Steelers game
  4. A December 28 bowl game against Kansas State was not really what I was expecting for Michigan back in September. Oh well
  5. Crawford looks like he just suffered a significant injury. Hope I'm wrong.
  6. So while the Lions loss is great for the Bears, the Packers loss is bad news. One it keeps them very much alive in the divison race (0.5 games behind), and two it makes it pretty likely that not only will Rodgers return, but will be playing Week 17 against the Bears. I am assuming that unless Rodgers isn't feeling right after coming back, once he returns he will play the rest of the season even if the Packers fall out of the race. I guess our best hope there is that Rodgers isnt able to come back next week and the Packers lose, but I'm thinking he will be back.
  7. Yup. I want this [expletive] over before Week 17. Rather finish 6-10 than 10-6 and still watch the playoffs. I want more excitement this year. Would suck to finish 10-6 and no playoffs again and obviously our draft pick would suffer but I don't care. It's the same reason why I have a hard time rooting for the Bulls to tank.
  8. They did two years ago.. Uh? Nevermind I was in a drunken haze that entire winter. I remember them playing a playoff game in the dome, for some reason I thought it was in Detroit.
  9. They did two years ago..
  10. That was probably one of the most exciting 30 minutes of football ever. Love you red zone channel.
  11. holy [expletive], make it 4 Jesus this is insane
  12. Packers win. Chances of Rodgers returning for week 17 against the Bears improving
  13. Eagles choking it up in the snow. Not looking good for the Bears Edit: and now this looks stupid :)
  14. Reggie Bush slipped in the snow during warmups and rehurt his calf and might not play
  15. Weird... They must be sure that Cutler will be a FA. that is weird, I would think Locker showed enough to at least get another season as starter. At least enough for a team to dump him and gamble that Chicago would let him go to open FA. I guess its possible they have some sort of knowledge that the Bears aren't going to keep Jay unless he takes a discount. The Titans are definitely a team I'd worry about, maybe the only franchise that I think Jay would choose over the Bears if offered a similar contract.
  16. Jayosh Mcuttler projected over 16 games this year: 4492 yards 29 TD 12 INT
  17. Month and a half? The game is less than a full month away (Jan 6)
  18. Ugh. I was out running errands this morning and realized that Mike Murphy now has a weekend morning radio show on ESPN1000. By the time he uttered "Theo Epfraud" for the 73rd time in 5 minutes I had to turn it off.
  19. I'd rather Portugal be desperate for points in the 2nd game than Germany needing points in the 3rd game against us.
  20. I wonder how pissed MAC officials are that Bowling Green is costing their conference BCS money
  21. Ugh Raanta....3 losses in a row. That was a terrible first SO
  22. hahah awesome, i'll take it now lets win it to make it even worse
  23. NIU is losing by 11. Who is in line for a BCS bowl if they lose?
  24. No, because a Lions win and Bears loss puts the Bears 2 games back with 3 to play.
