BTW am I right for cheering for Portugal here (at least for 1 goal)? I want to be farther away from a Ghana win. If Portugal gets up multiple goals or the US down then I'be concerned about Portugal advancing.

I was going to point out that the Cubs haven't played a lot of home games compared to pretty much every other team but I'm guessing most of the balloting is done online these days. -
Anthony Rizzo with a .288/.404/.532/.936 line on pace for 37 HR and 95 RBI. He makes old school statistics sexy again. BTW, only 2 Cubs have finished with over 500 PA and a +.900 OPS in the last 9 seasons.

Yeah still a very good not quite great chance. There are many scenarios that get us through, not as many that eliminate us Basically, the only situation that eliminates the US is a blowout loss plus a Ghana win. Do you consider losing by 2 goals a blowout loss? Because that and any Ghana win would knock us put I believe.
