    Not sure why I missed this, but I did. Anyway, I find it disturbing that you remember that whole thing. I definitely remember Rex getting off to a decent start in the first game or two and tearing up his knee in Minnesota. Think he played vs GB and Detroit and we lost to Detroit at home and beat GB at Lambeau. I remember Rex scrambling around and making a couple plays outside the pocket. Mike Brown's fumble return. That is basically all I remember of that season as I almost entirely blacked out the Quinn/Krenzel/Hutchinson games. I think Hutchinson may have had one monster good game at some point out of nowhere. Hutchinson had a very good game in his first start as a Bear at home against Minnesota in a win. I remember this because I was at the game and everyone was shocked. His performance deteriorated from there and the Bears didn't win a game the rest of the year. Krenzel absolutely sucked but the Bears somehow managed to win 3 games in a row. I forget the first one, but the second was in NY against the Giants when we sacked Warner like 10 times, and other was in Tennessee where we won with a safety in OT. Quinn was even worse than Krenzel, culminating in the worst game in NFL history. Krenzel vs the Cowboys Quincy Carter on Thanksgiving.

    Yeah you are making judgements on one game though. Just like SF will look at our tape and be like "wow we can run all day on those guys". Oh wait, dammit they will.

    It depends. Reading in text it sounds bad, but I didn't see the TV show so I don't know the context. For all we know he could have been breaking down the play on film on TV and showing who should be where. He could have also assigned some fault on the play to himself and that quote wasn't included in the tweet.

    dafuq it was going pretty great until like 4 days ago. and a big reason for it to turn bad wasn't predictable at all (that indestructible castro and rizzo would suddenly get hurt within 3-4 days of eachother) That combined with Javy having a .389 OPS his last 20 games and Alcantara with a .496 OPS over the last 12 games.

    Had Rueben Randle and Larry Fitzgerald and needed 4.0 points to win, got only 3.8. Lost in a second league by .26 points. I'm so thrilled football is back *NCAMFT*

    Bet he'd return to Chicago to play for the White Sox over the Cubs. Guy was a Sox fan growing up, and had multiple anti-Cubs messages on his MySpace around the time he was drafted (yes MySpace)

    Stop pretending I'm defending either Penn State or this decision. All I've said is that I'm no surprised that the NCAA reversed course, not because I think it's the right decision, but because the NCAA can literally do nothing right. And because penn state keeps winning baby! Again, you're putting words in my mouth. I only stated their record because the penalties didn't work. One could argue that means the penalty wasn't harsh enough. I don't get it? The penalties didn't work so we should just remove them 2 years early?
