If you think about it, the Cubs were probably going all out to win the first game considering this game they will have Beeler pitching and Schwarber likely on the bench. But hey Dexter Fowler and Starlin Castro will play!

FU Simmons I think/hope the podcasts will be released in audio form - they did a lot of video podcasting on Grantland, too. As for the writing, looks like there's more to come. [tweet] [/tweet] Phew, OK I take it back Bill. His writing quality has gone down the last few years, but I still enjoy reading some of the articles, especially his Friday NFL ones even if his opinion is wrong half the time. Also love the Cousin Sal betting lines podcasts, so was really hoping he would keep them going.

Both were already in the midst of some suckage before the Derby, although I'm sure that didn't help. Why would swinging the bat ~200 times with a home run swing all the sudden break a hitters mechanics?
