Especially considering that coming into the year he had a little more than 300 major league PAs (including playoffs) and had literally 20 PAs in the previous calendar year. If you take his bottom out point in BA (.162 after June 5th), his line over the last 68 games is .246/.338/.555/.892 (over 240 PAs) -

The Brewers still think they have a shot at the division Let's look at it...if the Cubs finish the season 7-6, the Brewers would have to go 11-2 to even tie the Cubs Heck if the Cubs finish 9-4, the best the Brewers can do is go undefeated to tie the Cubs. If that is the case, the loser probably wins the Wild Card (Cubs are 1.5 games ahead of COL) Bottom line, the Cubs are at 97.7% to make the playoffs according to Fangraphs so let loose and have a little fun

Duensing, Montgomery and *shudders* Wilson are going to be responsible for closing this out I would not be at all surprised to see Davis in the 9th. True with an off day tomorrow and it's the stretch run but he's thrown 43 pitches the last 2 days, seems like a lot to have him pitch effectively for a 3rd game in a row
