How one scouts Love aside, I think if Love does wind up the 12th best QB in the league (that's a huge if), its OBVIOUSLY worth it, and not even close. Put aside that the player you would have gotten instead of Love could bust, the number of wins that a 12th-best-QB-in-the-league is worth compared to literally any other position, elite talent or not, is not comparable. That said, Love is definitely a boom-bust prospect. His closest comp is Mahomes. His chances of being as good are obviously low, but that's his ceiling. Rodgers isn't a bad guy. I think he has a right to be fairly PO'd at the Packers front office over the years (the comment about no first round offensive skill picks during Rodgers' tenure until now is telling) but he's well aware of the Farve-Rodgers / Rodgers-Love parallels, and I'm all but certain he's going to attempt to have a good relationship with the guy. The main reason that the Farve-Rodgers relationship soured was that Rodgers and the Packers knew that Rodgers was better than Farve, and Farve was Farve. Love isn't going to be better than Rodgers within the next few years. Now, if the Packers don't grab at least a few WRs with their next 4 picks, Rodgers is probably going to get vocal about his displeasure, and things might get ugly.
