i always get worked up about that too, but next inning is the bottom of the order so he'll have easier at bats. But isn't the bottom of their order kind of the middle of their order?

This could only be the case, even with a clincher, if you already owned a jersey of all the other position players, all of the other starting pitchers, and most of the bullpen and bench.

that's awesome. we're hitting something like .190 in the playoffs so far, but thank god roberts decided to walk heyward and coghlan last night and the guy who's so crippled he almost didn't make the roster hit a bomb With a max of 12 games left to play, cumulative stats be damned. Anybody is capable of getting red hot at any moment, and in case you hadn't noticed, we've got a lot of guys who are capable of doing just that. If the 2015 team was Chester Copperpot, these guys are the [expletive] Goonies.

You said if you were given +200 on the Dodgers winning all three games in LA means you think it's a 1 in 3 chance of happening. That's about a 70% chance of winning each game, which is ridiculous. *Edited because I was thinking of the original even odds assumption*

If you'd quit acting like Rondon Fan, your posts would stop being treated like his, which is what they are, reactionary nonsense. i dont care how the posts are treated, or i wouldn't be posting them. i dont think the tea leaves read in our favor in the next three games, hopefully im wrong. I don't think that'll happen with Zobrist also in the OF, but it's worth a thought. I actually like the matchup of Soler against Hill, Jorge struggles the most with recognizing pitches that play off a fastball, his worst pitch values are sliders and changeups. Hill throws 90% fastballs and curves. Hmmmm. Soler in LF, move Zobrist back to 2B and have Baez play SS instead of Russell? Or is that too drastic to suddenly roll out in the playoffs? Yeah, seems a little reactionary to me, but I wouldn't be pissed if it happened. Like I said earlier, I'd just be happy to see Russell lower in the order.
