Shota should not have been out there to face the heart of the order again. Counsell has had far too many misses in the playoffs. This team is not good enough to beat the Brewers when your manager gets outmanaged time and time again.

Pulling the ball helped turn around Shaw's offense this year, but now he looks to be pulling off the ball. That and he can't catch up to heat and doesn't have a B hack. Nice walk though.

Maybe my Fangraphs data was a little off and Busch passed him mid June, but based on that and Busch's defense, there is absolutely no reason to be playing Turner right now. Busch has been one of the Cubs' best hitters and Busch's bad stretch against lefties early on in the season is no reason to be sitting him now. This really shouldn't be a hard decision.

It’s one thing if Busch was just marginally better against lefties, but Busch has been significantly better than Turner since June against lefties
