  1. That would be great if true. I thought for some reason that even though I live in Chicago and am watching in market, you couldn't watch non-national games on an Xfinity app. I can’t watch anything from Marquee live even though I’m in market. Really? I watch live games all the time using the Marquee app. Do they not have an xfinity log in set up for it yet? I’ll have to use the app for Marquee. Didn’t know that would work.
  2. i have no actual knowledge of this nor do i have xfinity, but why wouldn't you be able to watch it on your xfinity app live? idk what the nfl rules are but usually when you have in market streaming as a verified tv subscriber you are not blacked out on anything you're able to watch on regular tv as long as you're in your home region. That would be great if true. 3. I’m assuming I can’t watch the Bears game on my Xfinity app live, but can I watch the DVR of it on the app just a few seconds behind live or will they somehow block that too?
  4. Might be a good time to finally get rid of Skip Bayless. His ratings still suck, too.
  5. I guess it's not unusual for a player to be defaulted for doing something like that, but I've never seen it happen before. The men's draw is wide open with Djokovich now out and Nadal, Federer, Del Potro, Wawrinka, Zverev, Kyrgios, and Monfils joining him. There's no on left in the men's draw who has won Grand Slam.
  6. It's a bad day to be Bruce Levine
  7. Bryson Dechambeau's transformation since last fall has been incredible. He was already fairly long, but he gained 30-40 lbs, he's eating like crazy, working out like a madman, and has started absolutely hammering the ball. He's literally gained in the neighborhood of 30-50 yards with his driver just over the last 8 months. He's obliterating courses and hitting it fairly straight. He's waiting for the green to clear on 390 yard par 4s to clear so he can tee off and nearly hit the green. When Tiger came on Tour and destroyed Augusta in 1997, it was a huge thing. Then when the solid core, urethane golf ball came out and everybody got 10-15 yards longer, that was a thing. What Bryson is doing is another huge leap for golf. I don't think he had more than a 7 or 8 iron into any par 5 and on the par 4s he doesn't have more than a wedge into any even if they are 480 yards long. And Bryson told us he was going to do this last fall and then just went out and did it. Going to be very tough to beat.
  8. I don't know enough about the Hawks to determine if this is true, but I heard that McDonough wouldn't let the team rebuild and that Rocky finally realized they aren't going anywhere soon without a rebuild. True or false?
  9. You really can't grade a draft one day after it ends, but every major publication thinks that most every team got an A or B grade. The only bad grades I saw were for the Packers who were given a C by one publication and a D in another. Do publications always give mostly good grades out like this or did teams seemingly draft well this year?
  10. I don't blame Pace for drafting Trubisky. I do blame him for trading up to get him. That was a foolish move considering that if someone did jump the Bears to take him, Watson still would have been there to take with the 3rd pick. Maybe Watson wasn't the right kind of pedigree for the style offense they wanted. Maybe then you trade down and pick up some picks and then get Mahomes a bit later. I don't think there is any way to possibly defend the trade up, so I'm not going to say Pace does no wrong. But, at least he didn't give up more draft capital to move up to draft someone this time. At least not yet. I didn’t mind Pace moving up to get a QB. The problem was that he passed on two potential HOF QBs. I wouldn't have drafted Maholmes where Trubisky was picked because he wasn’t on my radar, but Watson was and Pace never really had him in mind. It’s going to cost Pace his job and will set back the team 7-10 years.
  11. I have never understood the argument, at least in the first few rounds of the draft, of risking losing a player you really like and you have a need for by trading down a few spots with the hope that he's still there and getting another later pick. If Kmet is your guy, it's too risky to lose him for a late round pick someone would have given you.
  12. I like the picks and hopefully the new coaching staff in 2021 will be able to get the best out of them
  13. Also mentioned that Thibs wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility to return as coach
  14. Add David Schuster (Bulls pre/post) and Rick Camp (producer) to the list. Score is going to be really thin on hosts. They might have 1 host per show all day. Dan MacNeil said his contract is up next Tuesday so we might end up with Bernstein, then Holmes, then Parkins, then Grobstein. Put Holmes and Bernstein together and combine their shows. Tough day for the Score. Schuster had been there forever and I liked Rick Camp.
  15. Hahahaha!
  16. Extend your arms, Mitch. What was he doing?
  17. Trubisky, Carr, Tannehill, Newton, Rivers, Mariota, or Foles next year. Who do you want to be the starter or at least who do you want to compete with Trubisky?
  18. Some WR's who can actually catch the ball might help as well. I know Mitch sucks, it was garbage time, blah, blah, blah but, how can he make a better throw than he did to Robinson on the last series? On the sideline, drops it perfectly between two defenders and of course, Robinson drops the ball. He’s had a few drops, but Robinson is not the problem with the offense
  19. I don’t see any short-term hope with this team. You can’t be a Super Bowl contender with Trubisky. He’s getting worse and so is Nagy. Fixing the line and getting a TE will help, but until the Bears get decent QBing and a better play caller, it’s not going to really matter.
  20. A kicker missed a FG against the Bears!
  21. And Perreira somehow agreed with the ref. “Well it looked like a block in the back.” Whatever.
  22. Great game from Mitch. He needs consistency and consistency is what separates bad QBs from great QBs. Anyone can QB like Mitch did today for one game in today’s NFL. Win out or win 3 of the next 4 and be the reason the Bears win to prove to your teammates and management that they don’t need to bring Cam Newton in next year.
  23. Forman is supposedly on the hot seat. Won’t matter unless Paxson and Boylen are also fired and for some reason Paxson is untouchable.
  24. Is there talk he'll actually be available? A multi year deal would be better if it could actually happen. It seals Pace/Nagy to Rivers and not another young QB who could require years to evaluate. With the Bears cap space, a multi year deal would allow them more creativity to fit him in without forgoing like, everything else I think he’d rather retire than leave his family to play in Chicago
  25. He's like the equivalent of a carrying a pinch runner in the playoffs. He does one very specific thing decently that might come up in a game situation. What's the one thing he does well? An occasional decent block?
