I hear ya. FWIW Goff claims he hurt it in the 3rd and it didn’t affect his throwing later in the game. Since the Rams won’t have clinched anything by kickoff, he has every reason in the world to try to play and the rams have every reason to win. The bears need to keep the game close so that the Rams have no incentive to look at the scoreboard and take their foot off the gas. It's questionable how good Goff is when healthy. When injured? Yikes. Hopefully McVay has a good game plan. Their backup has never thrown a regular season pass

There’s been a number of teams in the last few weeks that couldn't beat teams that had nothing to play for. This was a nice win for the Bears and they hammered who they should of.

Mitch has had a ton of those this year, I mean over his career. 2 or 3 in the red zone. The one that got him pulled for Foles was about as bad.

Only if he plays great the rest of the way out, the Bears win out, they make the playoffs, and they win two playoff games. Only Sid Luckman in 1945 and MCown’s hot stretch in 2013 are better seasons for QB rating. I think if he finishes 95 or higher, he's good enough to carry forward regardless of their record. It would open up the 1st rd pick to all kinds of options like WR and OT, and you could still take a QB in the 2,3, or later rounds as insurance He’s been playing against garbage defenses
