I'm kinda surprised Maddon is double and triple dipping with some of these relievers before going to Warren. His numbers as a reliever seem to indicate he can be trusted with more than just long relief duty.
I get not wanting to put the go-ahead runner on, but having Wood face Peralta would've likely prevented Goldschmidt from stealing 2nd at least. That was a questionable decision.
That is kinda funny. I also find it fascinating that now the Cubs are one of the few teams that doesn't shift, when that's what they (and Maddon with the Rays) were all about a few years ago.
