    Nice outing by Hendricks. Though CSN's radar gun wasn't kind to him tonight, mostly 85-86 with the fastball.

    That was kind of a hilarious error; the 3rd baseman didn't even have time to know it was hit to him until it made contact with his chest.

    I think Soler will manage to make us miss Schwarber's defense. He makes Kyle look like prime Carl Crawford out there.

    I'm kinda surprised Maddon is double and triple dipping with some of these relievers before going to Warren. His numbers as a reliever seem to indicate he can be trusted with more than just long relief duty.

    I get not wanting to put the go-ahead runner on, but having Wood face Peralta would've likely prevented Goldschmidt from stealing 2nd at least. That was a questionable decision.

    I can't wait until Jedd Gyorko is playing SS against us.

    I feel like that might be the only PA of the year where Zobrist whiffs on multiple fastballs.

    That green stuff is not grass; the ball picks up speed the longer it rolls.

    I didn't mind these DBack's uniforms at first, but the more I look at them, the more ridiculous they become.

    That is kinda funny. I also find it fascinating that now the Cubs are one of the few teams that doesn't shift, when that's what they (and Maddon with the Rays) were all about a few years ago.

    I could see Javy becoming a range monster in LF. It would be nice if he could hit Major League pitching though.
