    Welp, at least Lester's made improvements at the plate. Maybe next year he figures out throwing to bases. lol, jk, he is broken forever in that aspect

    That's a pretty swing, and not just for a pitcher.

    I think anyone hoping for swing changes that make Heyward hit a bunch of dongs this year is going to be disappointed. That swing still looks especially...choppy. Which, oh well, I'll settle for the 5-6 wins instead of 8 or whatever.

    ^ He also threw another runner out as well. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be Welington-bad at receiving bc there is so much to like about him. Pretty exciting, his development.

    I was unaware of that rule; I thought the runner could do pretty much anything as long as they don't touch the ball or fielder.

    I think Bryant might be prime Kevin Youkilis now with his new swing and reluctance to strike out.

    Strop is shaped like a middle linebacker this year, but man he's been filthy so far.

    I just don't get why the strike zone on 3-0 doubles in size. There is literally a 0% chance the 3-0 pitch to Zobrist would've been called a strike if he had 2 strikes on him. Just seems so bizarre to me that seemingly every umpire does this, almost like they're taught to do it or something.

    I feel like JD has even upped his game from last year, when he was still great. He's had me chuckling at least once every half inning this year.

    I will admit to still being pretty terrified of the Mets (way more than any other team) in a playoff series, but yeah, I could definitely see them not even getting there. There are definitely some weaknesses that could cost them over a full season, namely, for me, that infield defense.

    Well that kind of cancels out the DBacks game that we should've won. And man do I love Rondon. Very little drama. Just goes right after the horsefeathering hitters.

    I think Kris beats that out if he fields it, though there's no way you can call that a hit in this situation.
