    That looked like a fairly nasty 83 mph slider. I didn't know he had one of those.

    Javy came into this game with 8 DRS in 288 innings at 2B. That is a whole bunch. Looks like the leader is Pedroia with 11 in 1000 innings.

    Carlos Villanueva is only 32. I would've guessed he's at least 36.

    We'll have a 7 game lead over the Nats for the #1 seed if this lead holds. We're pretty much to the point where there's no reason to scoreboard watch, not even for positioning. 100+ wins would still be pretty cool to get though

    Can we give Heyward's money to Fowler, please Adam Eaton becoming an elite right fielder makes me wonder how Fowler would've rated out there. I mean now Fowler is fine in center, but if he would've been a corner outfielder his whole career, I wonder how he would've compared to Heyward as an all around player.

    Zagunis is out for the year. Well I'll be darned. Looks like it wasn't even that recent either.

    Zagunis is deserving, so my first thought was Heyward to the DL with an "injury." But this is probably just re-loading the pitching staff before a Coors field series.

    Anecdotally, I feel like they've gotten better at overturning calls that are likely wrong rather than only changing the ones that are 100%, embarrassingly wrong. I'm not sure what happened there, though.
