    If we play the Dodgers, I think we'd take all of Wood/Montgomery/Rob Z, and Lester would get games 1 and 5. I hope Lester gets game 1 no matter who we play, though.

    That was a weird AB. KB very uncharacteristically swung at ball four like six times then just ran the fastest time from home to second in MLB history.

    Pitchers are so awful at throwing up the mound to second base, I actually didn't mind the throw to third.

    Judging by his appearance, this ump worked his way up to the big leagues very quickly. Remarkable.

    Len and JD might be my favorite thing about the Cubs and there are a hell of a lot of things to like about the Cubs these days.

    I'm kinda surprised this guy is #43 on the Dodgers' SP depth chart; his stuff is pretty electric.

    Pedro Baez has single-handedly changed my mind on the pitch clock.

    I want to say Zastrysny had an uptick in velocity, like 94-95, at the end of the college season and was particularly impressive with Mcleod in attendance.

    The Dodgers aren't really equipped to hit lefties with this lineup today, and Hammel was bad. This seems more like a move you make if you're in a close race, but eh, I think it's a good move if Z can go 4 innings or so.

    Judging by his velocity, I think he might just be gassed this late in the season. He's gonna have about 3 years left of control by the time the Dodgers trust him to go a full season.
