  1. There's not being happy about it, and there's trying to gain revenge about it. Whatever, it's a dead issue, it happened, it sucks for the Mavs, but oh well. Seeing as I'm not a Mavericks fan, I really can't be bothered to care.
  2. What type of crowd are you looking for?
  3. Yes there will certainly be a steady stream of players going to Dallas and then quitting on the team.
  4. Their offense has been terrible - .221/.294/.338 The offense has been the worrisome point since this team was put together. Obviously there's some cause for hopw when Brett & Rizzo are recalled, but we're in trouble until that happens. Lahair has been one of the bright spots offensively. I'm Backtobanks and I don't understand relativity.
  5. Why would a bullpen and putrid offense cause us to lose a lot of close games rather than just barely win close games?
  6. Free agents will be very eager to sign with your team when you make a petty move purely out of spite.
  7. Calling it one of their biggest wins when they've [expletive] won the title is lunacy. Hyping Rivers for COY might be even crazier. It's clearly Thibodeau or Pop. If you want to go off the board look at Vogel, Hollins, or Corbin. He's not really off-base on Bradley though.
  8. Yes, everyone freaking out about how terrible the Cubs are because they're 1-5 are kind of missing the picture. Outside of the bullpen, (which whatever, it's a bullpen, who knows) they've actually looked good.
  9. I'm pretty sure pitchers get hurt a lot more often pitching than they do hitting, running the bases, and fielding.
  10. It's 52 degrees out. Samardzija is an athlete. What do you suggest he do should he get on base while he's pitching?
  11. Having the opportunity to stretch or warmup doesn't prevent a starting pitcher from potentially getting injured while pinch running. Are there landmines in between 2nd and 3rd? Samardzija isn't exactly Jamie Moyer out there. It was much colder on Monday night than it is right now.

  13. take 1 guess Lots of Panda Express.
  14. Clevenger represented the tying run. He's a catcher with no speed. A single could even it up. It was the right call. Samardzija.
  15. The Cubs .226 team batting average is good for 9th in the NL.
  16. Yeah, it was announced at 34. Doesn't really correlate with the number of people actually attending the game though. It never does in the cold months.
  17. Full beards are the new mustaches. People with them are terrible. so does that make mustaches the old full beard? No those people are still awful.
  18. Full beards are the new mustaches. People with them are terrible. That's hardly knew. I no.
  19. Full beards are the new ironic mustaches. People with them are terrible.
  20. I do think it's important to every so often be reminded that Vitters is 22 years old.
  21. You'll note I didn't object to your opinion of Wisconsin.
  22. My limited experience with Minnesota says they do alright for themselves. It's just so damn cold that they're always bundled up.
  23. LOL. You sure love to ride my nuts after every post... Every post you make is pretty nut-ridable...or something.... You know what nevermind. Go find a dog.
