I'd say the A's won this one. -
I doubt Kendall's as bad as he was in Oakland, but he probably has a better chance of putting up a 261 OBP next year, than a 362. (anecdotal evidence alert), many of his walks(boosting his OBP) came from hitting in the 8 spot where he was pitched around to get to the pitcher. If he's in the 2 spot, they'll just throw him meatballs cause he doesn't even have warning track power.

He does? How has he proven that he has the ability to return to 04 form? He hasn't proven that he can't. If Prior comes back without a loss in velocity, there's still the potential out there to be much better than '04, let alone as good as. If you don't think Prior can get back to '04 form, then go ahead and cut him loose, but I'm of the opinion that this was a guy who's been pitching hurt for the better part of 4 years, and to set him free now that he was actually diagnosed properly is crazy, and frustrating. -

MSU down 2 with 30 seconds left. Vitale calls it MSU's most important possession of the game. That's why he's the marquee analyst. Re: Duke - Henderson and Nelson both looked good. Everyone else was kinda meh. Paulus is terrible.

In games like this where DMac plays like an 18 year old, we're gonna have to switch things up and play Brock at the 2. Jordan and Holdren flat out cannot be playing important minutes unless they improve a ton.

I hate stuff like that. K complains about the call on his guy, the ref walks over, blocks his mouth with the basketball and talks to him about it. You'll see the same stuff with the other big name coaches. A Weber(or pretty much any Big 10 coach sans Izzo, maybe Tubby) wouldn't be extended the same courtesy.

Ok, that foul set a new standard. Whichever douchebag shot that for Duke faded away as Brock goes back and somehow that's a foul on Brock. People who go to Duke are losers.

i'd try to score on that stiff zoubek every chance i got too...but yes, he should look to kick the ball. If Zoubek was covering him by himself that'd be different, he's at least doubled every time he gets the ball.

I'd love to hear what the actual call was on that foul. This is about the 10th time in this game where Bilas or Raftery have said, "that's really a tough call to make" which is essentially their way of saying "bad call"
