what? how about, anywhere? Take an honest look at Marquis' stats, and then look at the back halves of rotations around the league. Anyone who is better than Marquis is not a scrap-heap starter and would have been snapped up ages ago. oh i agree that marquis was a fine 5th starter. a damn expensive 5th starter, but a productive one. the "where on earth are we going to find someone better than marquis" is absurd though and what i was responding to. Ok, tell me. Who's available that is a lock to be better than Marquis for cheaper than Marquis? Marshall has a pretty solid chance of being better, although I wouldn't call it a lock. I was under the impression he was talking outside pitchers.
