    if all we're going to get is a top 40ish guy and a top 100ish guy, it'd be stupid to trade him. garza is worth the future. if we can't get 1 high level can't-miss out of him, then no dice. Agreed. In my view, we hosed Tampa in the Garza deal, so that trade is of no relavence to me.

    I would have to ask for both Jacob Turner and Castellanos if we are dealing with Detroit. Garza is a premium asset on the market this year considering not only does a contender get him for a run this year, they also have him under team control next year as well at a bargain.

    I was about to post how awful this lineup is, and it is, but now that I think about it, I can't disagree with anything outside of Jeff Baker. Man this team sucks.

    Maybe if he was a great defensive third baseman you could bring him up for a bit, but no. He's still got a ton to work on in the minors. I mean hasn't his defense just reached "passible" this year?
