    haha, really? I'd imagine cameras were already on TIM TEBOW like they are on ALL QB's during a game winning (or losing) kick. Watch him walking off after the game. He stops and points to the sky several times. like every religious player in the history of sports?

    Of course. But Pat Robertson goes on TV and says natural disasters are punishment from God. And people apparently believe it. Point is, I guarantee you a large amount of people think Tebow is getting a hand from the big guy. And again, this is Tebow's fault how? Hell, if anything, it's the people looking for any excuse to crucify him that's perpetuating the Jesus image right now. Dude makes sure the post game cameras see him doing his little point to the sky gesture. The implication is obvious. joke post?

    This was the thought that came to me. The division was already looking very weakened with Pujols and Prince both leaving it. Now with Braun out for 50 games, the Brewers (who I consider the only actual good team in the division) may well not be able to reach that 90 win mark. This makes it that much more possible for the Cubs to contend in 2012 and that much more important that we don't engage in a 3-5 year unnecessary rebuilding process. I think the Cardinals are still going to be pretty good with Wainwright, Carpenter and Garcia at the top of their rotation. They won't be a World Series team again, but they'll be pretty good. The Cubs' chances have certainly improved in the past few days, but I don't see Theo/Jed doing anything too divergent from their strategy just because of Braun. seriously? if the 2011 cardinals can win the world series, any team ever can.

    hey buck up there, rafael furcal resigned for two more years. not only is he a decent player but he also may pick up the DUI slack left by larussa's departure. I figured Freese and Dan Mclaughlin could cover it. pretty sure mclaughlin was fired. I know some other guy was doing their pbp the last month of the season.

    That 2nd test would have been like a month later... how does that exonerate him? although I have no idea how long increased testosterone from steroids lasts.

    On the ESPN ticker it says Braun was informed a month before the MVP was given out. MLB couldn't announce it because of the dispute
