  1. Jerrell Freeman signs, per Biggs
  2. You can clearly hear Theo yelling 'My constructed roster is wicked pissah!' in the audio. This post has won the thread. Shut it down, mods.
  3. I am equally as amazed as philosopher, but I do mean it negative.
  4. What was the most common spot for everyone in last year's lineups? Rizzo had most of his at bats 4th, almost as many hitting 3rd Bryant 3rd Heyward (Career) had most 2nd, same for Zobrist I would go with this Zobrist Heyward Bryant Rizzo Soler Schwarber Montero Pitcher Russell Or just rank the players in OBP and use that. Hard to screw this up.
  5. I read a Medium article by someone who is the "Director of Fun" at Spotify
  6. Not sure where to find it online, but I wonder how many more pitches Arrieta threw than in years past. For example, if in Baltimore he struggled through five innings throwing 100 pitches, but then threw 7 innings toward the end of the year in 80 pitches. Obviously there were lots of games where he was well over 100 pitches this year, and probably got knocked out of a bunch of games early before he went god mode, but I don't feel like his increase in innings is that fair of a representation given how easy some of his innings/outings were.
  7. Zobrist Heyward Bryant Rizzo Soler Schwarber Montero P Russell
  8. I don't know how people could watch those two idiots. Lackey is a meathead.
  9. I've got the 9th inning saved on my DVR and it won't be going anywhere anytime soon. I have the Arrieta no-hitter, the wild card game, and all the wins against the cardinals on mine. I don't know if I'll re-watch them but I just can't delete them
  10. Sure, he shouldn't just be given a job. But he should be considered just as much as rat boy for the last bench spot. Especially if he proves to be as, or more, versatile defensively. What are the odds that Alcantara can reach some level of competence at the plate to make it in a utility role?
  11. The point is that the opt out is a significant win for the player at the time of signing the contract. This is illustrated by the idea (not sure in this case) that the opt out helps a team win the bidding. There are certainly outcomes that would make the opt out not actually cost a team.
  12. Was WV the type of offense that would make him pro-ready? Without looking anything up he had a limited amount of college game experience so I wouldn't expect him to be the route runner that would go along with that type of projection.
  13. [expletive] you, GB [expletive] you, Rodgers
  14. Line up for the false start?
  15. Ugh, 3rd and long....Fox wants to run a draw
  16. For how much i hear about how great Adams is going to be, he really [expletive] sucks
  17. Was that not holding on Willie Young?
  18. Getting pretty sick of JJ Watt commercials. Yes, he's terrific, but he's also a roided up freak
  19. Don;t they stop the play when the offensive linemen stand up before the snap? RG did so
  20. Oh great, all Favre for the 4th qtr
  21. ha ha Rodgers, suck it Edit: OK I typed that before I saw he was injured, but I don't feel bad for him/GB
  22. Second penalty against GB.
