    CA, I know you're not happy with Aramis, but if they dumped him the pitchforks would be justified. I'm iffy on Wood coming back, but I would understand letting him walk. I can see the argument you're making, but I think Hendry's failure is more philisophical than anything. I don't think you can win consistently with the kinds of players he prefers. I honestly think Hendry prefers guys like Beltran, Pedro and Millwoods, but his bosses won't let him shell out the money for those guys.

    Hendry has several flaws but,,,,, Nearly half the budget is tied up in the 5 difference makers (Prior, Z, Wood, Lee & ARam). The best 2, (Prior & Lee) have only played 15 games this year. ARam's been horrendous. Blame Hendry for that? Wood being out is arguable and I"m not goign there. As for "not relying on Prior," I recall nearly everyone being against the Tejada trade. How many teams can "plan" for their best 2 players being out?? How does Boston look w/out Ortiz & Manny? St. Louis w/out Carpenter & Pujols? If the Cubs get rid of ARam and Wood & then the pitchforks will be over that too.

    rich hill extinguished it right away. don't worry there will be some carryover fire w/ z on the mound tomorrow. If Pierzynski is in the lineup tomorrow, Z needs to bean him. I was just about to say that. And knowing Z, he will. ozzie's crazy enough to put aj back out there. crazy like a fox... cause z might get tossed if he drills aj. might be better to drill someone else actually.

    dear white sox, please end cub fan misery and light up hill for 5 more runs. don't let this guy get ran out there again 5 days from now. 0-6 in 14 appearances isn't good. iirc jeff pico even won a game.

    He's doing great in AAA: 6.45 ERA, 1.75 WHIP, 7/8 K/BB in 4 starts(22.1 IP) i know he's been bad in the minors, but I'll take a 5% of winning over a 0% chance.

    does hill's career ERA go over 10 today? well rich hill has been given a chance and it's pretty apparent what we have.... not much. bring back jerome williams. at least he's won a game or two in the majors.
