david ross rules and him being on dancing with the stars is great. i hope the 2016 cubs pop up everywhere for the next decade and all the other fan bases hate us.
ooh, this made me remember rizzo's home run that broke kershaw's brain. god, there's like 50 moments this year that would make the top 5 in any other season.
my wife for whatever reason decided this season that kyle hendricks is her favorite cub, and she was more nervous late in this game than she was for any of the playoff games.
total divas. as far as scripted, there's probably other shows i've seen every episode of that i can't think of right now, but off the top of my head i'd have to say the office. at its peak (seasons 2-5?) it was as good as any comedy ever, but it fell off hard and was pretty terrible for a few seasons. but i stuck with it the whole time. walking dead would have been the correct answer if i hadn't quit watching after this season's premiere. EDIT: also thought of another one. i've seen every episode of eastbound and down, and while i don't hate it, i can't say that i loved it and that i have any desire to watch it again.
I'll forever have a spot in my heart for Jake Buchanan. My wife and I got a hotel and went to the last 3 regular season games in Cincinnati. We were excited that Lester and Hendricks were pitching the last 2 games, but kinda bummed we'd have to sit through a lame ass Buchanan start first. Well, it turned out Lester and Hendricks sucked but Buchanan pitched well. Baseball is dumb and awesome.
new busch stadium is so bland and forgettable that the cardinals' own instagram account can't tell the difference between busch stadium and great american ball park.
wtg Cardinals, you built Great American Ball Park St. Louis That's just silly. http://www.wcpo.com/sports/baseball/reds/oops-cardinals-mistook-great-american-ballpark-for-busch-stadium
It's awe-inspiring even now, but I wish I could experience the pure awesomeness of seeing a live baseball game in full color up close in the 30's-60's when all you'd seen of professional baseball beforehand was grainy black and white newsreel footage.
the Cardinals radio call of the pickoff is my 2nd favorite moment in baseball history. http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/11493214/v31189779/must-c-conclusion-ueharas-pickoff-makes-sox-winners skip to 1:59 to hear it
