    If I had Dunn's career numbers at Wrigley, I'd want to be a Cub also. 217 ABs: .286/ .419/ .664/ 1.083. That's also all against Cubs pitching. I don't put too much stock into a guys career numbers at a road ballpark. the cubs pitching has been good for about 5 straight seasons though, minus 2006

    i know he's had a ton more at-bats at cincy, but dunn has a 100 point higher slugging percentage at wrigley than he does at gabp. I'm pretty sure we both agree that means nothing. I am warming to Dunn so long as he is in Chicago 4 years or less. He'd fit nicely between Lee and Ramirez. it worked out wonderfully when we signed blauser because of it.

    if adam dunn isn't the direction hendry wants to go for in search of a left-handed, power hitting outfielder, i can't imagine what alternative he has in mind that is better and available. and for what it's worth, some people believe that dunn is worse at 1B defensively than he is in LF defensively.

    Where did Hermida come from? And who is better ... Hermida or Bradley? Hermida can actually play for us and not just sit on the DL . . . so Hermida. Teach me about Hermida, I feel like I'm missing something. He had a great year in 07, his first full year, but was pretty awful last year. His slugging and OBP took a big hit. Was there a reason for that, or are we just hoping to buy low and hope he returns to form? he's only 25 he's had major league success he's getting out of dolphins stadium he has awesome minor league numbers i think he's a great buy-low option

    He'll be 34 and probably not a Cub after this season. I'll miss him, but it'd be ridiculous to have him be in the way of acquiring Jake Peavy.

    According to Steve Phillips, it would be 2 years, 12-14 million. Really? We can't pay that? Skip the Peavy garbage, re-sign Woody, sign Bradley and call it a day. lol. get rid of woody for 6-7 million per year to trade for gregg for what will probably be 5 million. wtg hendry

    If we're going to be eating 6 million for Marquis, maybe we should just keep him as insurance for Harden, Zambrano, and Peavy if/when they go down with an injury.

    he's not as horrible as people make him out to be. he's a servicable 5th starter. the only problem is that he's not worth his contract, and hendry was foolish for giving it to him. but marquis had his moments as a cub. i won't miss him though.
