    I know I know, I'm definitely overreacting to the photos. I just can't get over the fact that the players typically care about the results less than we do. Plus pretty much everything Soriano has done since the regular season ended has pissed me off. I mean why should he care, he makes $18 million a year, cheats on his wife whenever he wants, can pretty much buy whatever he wants, and has the next 4 months off basically (obviously he'll be working out and stuff). he probably was upset. but he, unlike some of the posters here, got over it.

Damn latinos. theriot is gritty. edmonds is a true ball player. reed johnson is an old school player. fontenot has sneaky power. derosa blogs about his feelings and is sensitive. we need more upstanding white folk on the team.

    Didn't someone at the beginning of this thread say that the actions of WSI were not indicative of the fanbase as a whole? They absolutely cannot cheer for their own team, they have to root against the Cubs. Seriously, some psychiatrists need to study this. Kinda like how Bears fans cared more about bashing Brett Favre in the offseason than worrying about their own team, right? I'm getting tired of the "HAHA LOOK AT HOW MUCH THE WHITE SOX FANS HATE US" obsession some posters have, it doesn't make them any different than the fans they criticize.

    would any of us really care about improving the playoff system if the cubs didn't suck the past 2 playoff appearances? no, the best team doesn't always do well in the playoffs, but i can't think of a structure that would change that. unless you make the post season about 40 games long or something.
