    The Bengals pick Jason Smith, OT from Baylor. The Bengals suck everywhere except for QB, and that's assuming Palmer stays healthy. Might as well start with shoring up the offensive line, though the Bengals could go in many directions with this pick.

    over/under on the nsbb meltdown of "God this team has too many holes, we're in trouble!!!!" i say 5th inning when we're down 7-1. last year we barely made it into the second series of the season before that garbage started people were flipping out when we lost the 1st 2 games to the brewers

    Some people don't feel the need to exploit other Cubs fans...others don't have the capital to spend on 6 tickets. It's not exploiting anyone, it's business. Also the economy is crap. If you don't sell your tickets after the initial excitment today, expect to take a huge cut on your profits. i'm not going to even bother unless i get opening day or sox tickets.

    i'm giving myself 50 minutes to hopefully get in and get 6 of the premium games. not worth the risk for anything else.

    Hell, this is probably 5 months ago, and going off of memory, so take it for whatever it's worth. But around 5 months ago, Lee was being interviewed on XM radio, and when they asked about his daughter, he mentioned that there was a possibility his daughter was misdiagnosed, but he went on to say he was still committed to Project 3000. I'm assuming that hasn't changed.

    I think Selig overall has been a decent commissioner. But you can't convince me he didn't know his players were juicing, he let it happen. For him to re-write the record books would be absurd. He did nothing to stop the players.

    Hendry's not an idiot. I don't think the Bradley deal was bad even considering what Dunn and Abreu have got. Bradley for 3 years and 30 million is a great deal. But I can't find any reason to defend Hendry signing Miles to the deal he did. Even in a great market, bench players shouldn't get 5 million dollar deals. He really overpaid for Miles, when the only thing Miles offers is some versatility, which Hendry has an obsession with.

    jim hendry is paying 2.5 million a year for a backup middle infielder in a market where a very productive corner outfielder is going between 8 million and 10 million a year. this makes hendry look very bad.

    MLB radio was always saying that Dunn had a multi-year offer waiting for the Nats, but Dunn was holding out for a contract from a better team.

    ....green font? you don't think people have cheated in pretty much every era of the game? Is that what I said? He said ALL your heroes were cheaters too. Mantle, Frank Robinson, Ernie Banks? Maybe they were.
