    more like a whole lotta of nobody gives a [expletive] It's like he thinks we all sit around thinking about A&M all the time. Just for clarification, we don't. Nobody who isn't affiliated with A&M does. The only time I give that school a nanosecond of thought is when Old Style is in here being psycho. Britney Griner got them a lot of press though.

    He's in San Diego working with his QB guru George Whitfield again, so I guess the Padres used that opportunity to have a Heisman winner at the game. He took some BP and knocked one out of the park, too. And he shot a 79 at Pebble Beach last week. Kid is a natually gifted athlete. Holy Christ do you get daily updates on what he's doing? What's his bowling average?

    I'd like it if they put IU v Purdue in the classic the years they only played one in conference. Rotate Butler and ND otherwise. Shouldnt be that hard to coordinate. I'd rather that than have protected games. I think that's a stupid concept. Schedule is a "luck of the draw" unless ur rival happens to be really good or bad. Oh I agree, if they could face each other in Indy every few years that would be great.

    The beat reporter at Purdue's Rivals site was saying he thinks it will be a 'protected' rivalry after this year. Not sure where he got that information though.

    Purdue is only playing IU once this year, at Mackey. Apparently Fred Glass is going to ask Purdue to play IU in a non-conference game at IU. No thanks. Not when we've got a young team and don't have to play in East Lansing or Bloomington. If they could've worked it out so they played in the Crossroads Classic that would've been fine, but not in the Hall of Calls.

    Just heard Buster Olney talking about him on SVP and Rusillo. He said that when Gomez broke his collar bone in 2011, he went into the manager's office and told him he wanted to play like he did in winter ball, essentially swinging really hard and trying to hit home runs to center field instead of the slappy, line drive hitter coaches had wanted him to be since he's so fast. Based on his numbers, that kind of looks like it's about a year earlier than he really turned it around but it could be it took him some time to adjust to ML pitching with his new strategy. Gomez and Jean Segura are the most exciting players to watch on the Brewers since I hate Braun. The Brewers just got Aramis back, Hart still hasn't played, and Weeks has been god awful. Obviously Gomez will cool and Betancourt has been on a ridiculous tear, but the Brewers combination of offense and crappy pitching makes their games fun to go to. #2 OPS in the NL and worst ERA, haha.
