Aaron Jordan and Jalen Coleman-Lands. I'm talking class of 2015. Oh boy, you're going to get him going about Ryan Cline. Haha, I didn't even have to bring him up. Cline, Stephens, and Mathias. It's going to be nice to have good shooters again after watching the Johnson brothers over the last few years.

Well, at least that didn't end up affecting any team's special 2005 season in the long ru...EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE. Seriously, what a load of [expletive] and probably a slap on the wrist penalty. I would be so pissed if I was an Illinois fan. Kind of surprised we haven't seen a Sully meltdown about this yet....

It appears Purdue has added Jon Octeus, a 5th year transfer from Colorado State. He was going to play at UCLA but couldn't gain clearance for some reason - but did at Purdue? Plus he's already missed a good chunk of the academic calendar but is going to play right away. Seems odd. Anyway, looks like he put up ok numbers as the starting at PG for CSU last year and Purdue was extremely thin at guard.

Same reason there are Duke basketball fans there I would imagine. Nationally relevant team that's on prime time TV with flashy uniforms. Duke has flashy uniforms? Duke is an historical powerhouse, and conservative white boy mecca. Oregon is all flashy and well marketed by some of the best marketing people in the world, Nike. It's definitely uniform related but not Duke basketball related. Sorry, yeah that was worded poorly. Nationally relevant, on TV all the time, AND Oregon has flashy uniforms which appeals to a lot of people.

If Danny Etling starts for Purdue this week I'm not even watching. Maybe he can get his head together at some point in the future but he's a mess right now. Being a double digit underdog to Illinois is rock bottom, right?

The guy who runs full speed into 320 lbs linemen who are trying to twist him into the ground over and over for 130 consecutive games should have thought "I better not broad jump four feet because I wouldn't want to hurt myself." The worst part of the injury is the joy it brings to all the "act like you've been there before" idiots who idolize that weirdo Barry Sanders. Guessing he won't celebrate that way again... I blame Barry.
