our defense was great against the run but pretty lousy on the pass rush. you aren't going to be able to run a whole lot; wells and the osu o-line are probably better than their iowa counterparts, and we pretty much ate them up. they had a couple of hiccups the last couple of weeks - didn't play very well in the first half tonight or against michigan in the first half. the bye week is good to let clark recover from having his bell rung, and just let the entire team take a week off before refocusing. i think the iowa game is a lot less risk of a hangover with a bye week in between. thanks. i'm glad we can all agree on at least one thing, hating ohio state 8-) You're probably right about OSU's line being better than Iowa's but I would take Greene over Wells.

I like the idea of giving Williams some time against the Lions to see how he fares. Obviously wouldn't want to throw him into the fire against the Titans with no previous playing time, but the Lions are a different story.

You would probably bet the farm that if we gave up 41 we would lose this game going away... don't forget Booker's two dropped TDs either. Facts are we won a garbage game that we had to win and we're going to the bye week (which we badly need) in 1st place. nm:.... it appears you're a Vikes fan after reading your post again...
