Do people still think Prior should have been pitching through pain this whole time after what he looked like in '06, and after their admitting that he had "serious shoulder surgery"?? It just doesn't add up to me. I don't think he should be pitching hurt and I wouldn't expect him to. That's why a two-year incentive laden deal should have been worked out. Let him sit out all of 08 if that's what it takes and come back and pitch in 09 - at least you get some return on investment.

I consider them to be winners in this saga, not signing Rowand or Hunter. Who plays CF. Owens? does it matter? they probably weren't going to contend next year and getting rowand or hunter wouldn't have changed that. not getting one of those two (add jones to that list as well) is a good thing considering the price. I would agree - but Kenny is still going to get bashed by most Sox fans and the media.
