  1. It's ok because all the superstars can do it? Oh wait, the Pacers don't have a superstar? They probably shouldn't even show up to play the Heat. You know, because NOBODY wants to see a team like that win (unless you poll most of the people in the country).
  2. Your mentality is the reason they can get away with [expletive] like that.
  3. SI this week... http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/photo/2012-05/69960100.jpg
  4. I look forward to the Pacers taking some cheap shots at Wade and LBJ. Especially since I don't care about the repercussions to the Pacers players! Someone needs to tell Psycho T that Wade stole his acorn.
  5. Yeah, sorry that was a little tongue in cheek. I really liked how Wade was incredulous and was trying to get clarification from the official. You [expletive] threw a cheap shot on a defenseless player you clown.
  6. Why wasn't Wade ejected immediately after that hit?
  7. The Kings are definitely in their heads and doing a great job of keeping their composure. Just drawing power play after power play. The crowd was pretty Kings friendly as well. Getting pantsed at home and being cheered for it has to be especially demoralizing.
  8. Hahaha eat [expletive] Mike Smith.
  9. Mike Smith just gooning it up.
  10. I hate Bosh too but how great would it be if the Heat went out due to a Bosh injury? The guy the media always overlooked when talking about LBJ and Wade?
  11. haha, on the phone with a customer and laughed when I heard Soriano hit that...
  12. Yeah I think Castro is the only safe bet for at least this year and probably next year. I have my Castro jersey shirt which is my main Cubs game shirt now that my Aramis Ramirez jersey is obsolete. Castro jersey shirt is all I have that's current now too. I need to upgrade my Derrek Lee jersey.
  13. Man, I'd like to get a LaHair jersey but I'm cheap and think they're going to trade him later this year.
  14. Neither did the 4 run lead last night, eh? Too true Or the Grand Slam last Friday!
  15. Pretty sure that's the most runs we've scored in the 1st so far this year?
  16. What's strange to me is that your total revenue minus the subsidy is still more than your expenses. So you didn't need the subsidy. It's like they just said here take this money, but they didn't need it. Or spend it...
  17. Not really sure where to put this, but this is some pretty interesting financial info on D-1 public schools. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/story/2012-05-15/texas-athletics-spending-revenue/54960210/1 There were only eight D-1 (public) athletic departments that received no subsidies and were totally self sufficient (2006-2011). Four of them were in the B1G (Purdue, Penn St., Nebraska, OSU), three Big 12 (Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma), and one in the SEC (LSU). Michigan and Iowa were 99%+ self sufficient and all B1G schools (no Northwestern obviously) were under 10% subsidized. AD revenues for the B1G were spread from the bottom teams Purdue at $66M, Indiana at $71M, Illinois at $77M to Penn St. at $116M, Michigan at $122M, and O$U at $131M. I know there are some SIU people around, they were 87.3% subsidized!!
  18. 5 games out of first with a shot at 4 back tomorrow. Plus it's a day game!
