    It doesn't matter. With Oklahoma State, the Big XII Championship game (potentially), Miami and Texas all left on their schedule, OU controls its own destiny with the voters, and probably the computers as well.

    I'm pretty sure in the world of sports, winning means dollars. If you're a bunch of jackasses doing it, nobody will care. If you're losing but you're a great group of guys in the community, people will care but won't show up.

    Looking at the schedule, we could have a top five team fall each of the first 8 weeks or so this season. Next week USC travels to Cal. Cal's gonna move into the top five. The week after we have LSU/Florida, both of which could be in the top five, if they win and Cal loses. Ole Miss also plays Alabama. Texas/OU is the week after that. Penn State plays Michigan one of those weeks.

    Sagarin is great from the middle of the year on. In the first few weeks it's pretty meaningless. I read somewhere that the initial ones are hitting something like 60% vs the spread so far this year.

    He's a fifth year senior. He tore his ACL in their game last weekend against Charleston Southern. I read somewhere that he might not get a medical redshirt because he redshirted in 05.

    3/12 is ok, but 3/11 is not. What about Matt Groethe? This one really makes my stomach sick. He's meant so much to the program, to go out before the programs biggest instate game sucks.

    wait, what? you mean keep bradley, or go with an in house option for rf? because that sounds terrible. I'd keep Bradley. A week ago I completely agreed with that plan, but that ship has sailed. He absolutely has to be moved now. No he does not. Having him being a Cub next year isn't going to hurt anything. If things go well for the Cubs and Bradley, his attitude will be fine. If things don't go well for the Cubs his attitude won't be fine, but that won't matter because the Cubs are already not doing well.

    Not trading Milton Bradley is a real solution to solving the expected hole. Unless a stud wants to play for us cheap, we're not going to be able team making the move. We might have a team that hurts people's feeling less often, but we won't be in a better position to due well next season. Besides 2010 is the Cubs swan song. We'll be fairly pedestrian for 2011-12 and probably 13.

    They beat BYU in their bowl game last year. They also beat Cal. That's two wins against two teams that finished in the Top 25 last year and are in the Top 10 this year. Of course they're not very good, but they're good.
