  1. a TD finishes off OU, I think.
  2. Nice interception.
  3. Getting close to four hours isn't it?
  4. Is CBS the Florida Gator Network?
  5. whats this, a touchdown?
  6. mack brown and bob stoops need to give out a healthy dose of stick 'em during half time.
  7. well defense and fumbles. reviews not so much.
  8. the last five minutes of this game have been exciting. whats that, four or five fumbles/muffs in five minutes and three or four reviews? great old fashioned football.
  9. Wow Texas is losing it mentally. I feel like I'm watching an SEC game by the way. Good acting by the OU db falling down though.
  10. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/teams/stats?teamId=8&year=2006 scroll down to number four in passing.
  11. 21 yards of Longhorn offense...lol.
  12. Why is Michigan playing Delaware State in the middle of October?
  13. he has outstanding arm strength as well. he threw some lasers last night. accuracy needs work though, but he's got time to develop. btw, apparently some fsu players are reading on 2nd-grade level... http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/blog/dr_saturday/post/FSU-releases-NCAA-transcripts-Some-Noles-readi?urn=ncaaf,196189
  14. that doesn't mean anything. http://www.sjacob.dk/how_to_spot_a_rich_guy.jpg
  15. I don't know how that has anything to do with Mccoy not being able to lead his team to a big XII title in three years that he has been the quarterback. If whatever you said somehow proves that point and I just don't comprehend it, then okay. if BYU showed up and beat TCU in 2008. McCoy would have led his team to a Big XII title.
  16. sam bradford wouldnt have led his team to a big xii championship in 2008 if byu showed up in dallas in 2008. im not talking about for a game against OU.
  17. and that's because of the BCS and/or that DB who dropped a pick, not colt mccoy.
  18. McCoy was on the 2005 Texas football team. He has national championship and big xii championship rings. The former of which Sam Bradford will never have.
  19. If Cincinnati is #3 in both polls and Texas is #4 in the computers they could be. I agree that it's not likely because of the voters, but it's something that could happen. A little part of me wants something completely unbelievable like to happen. It'll be the only way we get rid of this awful system and have some sort of a playoff. A preseason #2 team going undefeated and getting passed by a one loss team would do that. Cincy jumping them will also do something similar.
  20. I Was digging to Tony LaRussa rumor while it was en vogue. It would be great to separate Pujols and LaRussa.
  21. Even if Texas wins out, they could still be passed by a no loss Cincinnati in the computers. Who knows maybe even a one loss team like VT could pass them. I think Texas loses again, though. McCoy's three yard passes won't be enough against a much-improved Sooner defense.
  22. Here's the Colt McCoy passing game plan. 1st and 10: WR screen where the pass is behind the LOS to Shipley, Chiles or Kirkendoll. 2nd and 5-10: Quick slant under five yards to either Shipley or Buckner. 2nd and short: WR screen where the pass is behind the LOS to Shipley. 3rd and long: Throw the ball up in the air and pray to god Shipley makes an unbelievable one handed catch. 3rd and short: WR screen where the pass is behind the LOS to Shipley. It's pretty much that, with a wrinkle thrown in here and there. I'd be willing to bet that over half of McCoys completions are caught within five yards of the LOS and a good third are behind the LOS. He had 32 completions against Colorado and only 268 yards.
  23. I'll go out on as limb and say there is a chance for a ton of "upsets" this week. OU, ND, Texas Tech Wisconsin and Mizzou are all pretty reasonable IMHO. Of those ND and Wisconsin might be the only ones that are not favored. I could envision Tulsa and Arkansas winning too.
  24. Colt McCoy hasn't been all that great this season. He's not even in the top 20 of QBs in efficiency this year. He's behind the likes of VT's Tyrod Taylor, FSU's Christian Ponder, and OU's Landry Jones, of course. Jimmy Clausen has 100 more yards passing, two more TDs and four fewer interceptions despite 40 fewer attempts.
