  1. If he continues what he's done the past couple of years, I agree. The inconsistency is what keeps him out of that group, though. And Rodgers is close to that group too if he can put together another couple of great years. One bad season and one average season out of seven makes me believe he belongs in that group. In four out of Brady's first six seasons his QB rating was below 90 and he was already talked about as being elite because of his rings.
  2. I'm pretty sure we should start putting Roethlisberger in that group.
  3. The Bears defense + Forte might still win.
  4. News to me. Nothing about this knee injury makes sense. It's so serious that they aren't even bothering to take him to the locker room? Never mind, apparently they looked him over between the half.
  5. That wasn't Cutler... I think he's talking about the knee "injury" or the 33 passer rating today The concussion likely plays into it. What concussion?
  6. That wasn't Cutler... I am talking about leaving the game. Obviously I'll change my mind if it turns out that his ACL is torn.
  7. I need to be reminded of what makes Cutler near an elite level. Because that's just sad.
  8. Bad, bad sign for the Bears when they're being gutted on runs out of the shotgun.
  9. Wow, Rodgers almost threw an incompletion.
  10. Packers need to sell high on Starks.
  11. I figured I'd get one after laughing at jersey saying Cutler is an elite quarterback.
  12. Fox had some NFL Films-type show before the pregame show.
  13. Aaron Rodgers sure did look like a douche bag in 2005.
  14. It is brilliant. Punto was one-half defensive insurance to what will be the worst infield defense in MLB and one-half character guy that La Russa seriously believes the team lacked last season. Only a Genius could look at an offense that was Pujols, Holliday, Rasmus, Flotsam and Jetsam and figure that they tanked because they didn't have enough guys getting their jerseys dirtied up. With that said, I'm almost certain now that they win 92 games, La Russa gets vindicated and we get the same team in 2012.
  15. I think I'm wanting the Bears to win just to see what kind of emotion Cutler shows. I've got money on him yawning.
  16. Why are you excited? You realize the Cardinals just added the final piece, right? This was a savvy move by a GM and manager who recognize that this team lacked backbone last season.
  17. CARDS SIGN PUNTO! CARDS SIGN PUNTO! CARDS SIGN PUNTO! Central Division, you belong to St. Louis.
  18. I love Soriano saying that, to him, there's no difference in the eighth and ninth inning. I hope every reliever starts saying that so Murry Chass and Bill Plaschke's heads explode.
  19. The Clippers have some of the most exciting young talent in basketball and it's a shame Del Negro is coaching them.
  20. I think there is a very good chance that Garza turns out to be better than Lilly, at worse he is a poor man's Lilly. He's a better value than Lilly, but probably a 3.5-win pitcher at best. That's about right for Lilly, too.
  21. I heard Jurko wasn't a fan of Favre's pick-throwing testes.
  22. what does this even mean? I stared at that sentence for five minutes today and couldn't figure it out.
  23. It seems improbable for the Jets to beat Manning, Brady and Max Cady three straight games, but I have a feeling it happens. Whoever wins is my pick to win the Super Bowl.
  24. Phew.
