    You know he has like 100 posts in like 5 years, right? I'm not saying I believe him, but he's rarely on here anyways and when he posts it's been late at night, so I'm not sure what your point is. My point? Those who ignore history are condemned to repeat it.

    Honestly, how many times are people going to fall for these posters with "anonymous sources"? Amazing how little things change.

    This wasn't a gun issue, as Welly was 92-94 and Marmol 93-95. Harden threw several in the 86-88 range and just generally had very little life on the ball. It was a gutty performance, but anyone who has watched this guy pitch extensively would tell you he was nowhere close to right out there. Given that he's already almost doubled the IP he had in '06-07 combined, it's very possible that he just has nothing left this year. Get him out there and see if he can gut out some wins - it's not like we have Cy Young waiting in the wings to take Harden's spot - but I was not at all encouraged by what I saw from him tonight.

    Had to let Wood finish it. He's pitched what, twice in nine days? Notmally I'd have let Lilly have the 9th, but if your closer never pitches you have to use him in a save situation there.

    Huge hit by A-Ram to pick up the team after Lilly's atrocious baserunning almost wasted another great chance.

    Yeah, much better to have Lilly run over the catcher than actually score easily on the play before.

    Great to see Kosuke start a big rally. Just leave him out there - dance with who brung ya. At least you know his defense will always be solid.

    they have the best bullpen ERA in the league. Lidge is part of that, but look at who they have to set him up - the numbers are one thing, but who would you trust with the ball in the playoffs? I don't buy it.
