    do you really not realize that the people who make fun of you aren't milton bradley apologists, but rather are making fun of you for your usage of a meaningless statistic like rbi's? yes, bradley has been a big dissapointment, but there are numbers out there that actually show that. rbis do not. Oh, I see kinda you missed the batting avg and HR part of the equation. Not to mention his sad attitude. But yea, carry on.

    I hope Hendry has his sights set higher than Hermida. I do as well. I'm just thinking realistically that's all he'll be able to snag for him because of RH becoming a FA after this year.

    So what did Bradley's defenders expect out of him? I see a lot of questions asking those of us what we expected (Me=20 hr, 80 rbi, .275 avg and a high OBP), but how about the Bradley apologists?

    Agreed. I can't wait for Sam Fuld in RF next season when we trade bradley for pennies on the dollar. Who said Sam Fuld? lol And whatever validity that guy had is now completely out the window. Where does it say in there that he should be our RF, douche? :scratch:

    Milton Bradley has 233 AB's out of the 3, 4 and 5 hole. He has a whopping 6 HR and 20 RBI in those spots. That is less than pathetic. Put that into a full season, you have about 15 HR and 55 RBI from postions in the order that must produce. He hasn't done it. But yes, lets defend this clowns antics. If he produced, this would be a non issue.

It's like fighting a lost cause though, so you can just live in your own little world where Milton Bradley is the antichrist and the reason why the Cubs aren't going to make the playoffs this year. And you go live in your little world and defend this idiot who mocks Cubs fans during his pathetic season. Smart logic there.

    and Bradley's OPS is 45 points higher and his OPS+ is 13 points higher. RBI? For real? In this case, hell yes RBI. He was given that contract to be a middle of the order run producer. Yes, he gets on base, but if I were to tell you when Bradey signed his contract that Theriot would more than likely drive in more runs this season, out of the two hole, you would have said no chance. Welcome to reality.

    Nothing like using batting average and RBI's to prove your point on how worthless a player is. Unless you're joking, the Cubs didn't sign him for 30M to put those kind of worthless numbers up. His attitude and lack of production is why he is booed. Period and end of story.
