  1. For the year he has a worse average than Hill with RISP. And since the ASB, my goodness are his numbers terrible. We're talking Aaron Miles terrible. lol batting average with risp btw, hill has a .591 ops since the break And not surprisingly, you answer a question with a question. I ask you who's been better over the last month and you respond with a question. Well done.

  3. Exactly. However, god forbid a fan favorite get benched for crappy play. My goodness. When Baker get back he should get the same promotion that Hill got. Fontenot has been as crappy this yr a Soto, thus he should be relegated to the bench like Soto. No question about it.
  4. Seems like a smart move to keep sending him out there to go 0-4 with 2 k's and GIDP every game.. so you want to send out a guy who has been a little worse Who's been better over the last month? Just answer the question.

  6. Yea, it's not like he hasn't had ample opportunity to turn it around. Seems like a smart move to keep sending him out there to go 0-4 with 2 k's and GIDP every game..
  7. Hill has a higher batting avg and obp than Soto. He has only 65 fewer at bats than Soto as well. Again, Hill is NOT THE ANSWER but Soto has sucked all year.
  8. What games have you been watching this year? Lou benched him, not me.
  9. When you compare the numbers on the offensive side, you'll be shocked how they stack up in comparison to games played. And I never said I WANT him starting, I said Geo has had plenty of time to get out of this funk and he hasn't. He needs to sit on the pine, which Lou said He'll do.
  10. You don't like the move? What are you seeing in Geo this year that warrants him getting the bulk of the playing time? what are you seeing in koyie hill's entire playing career that warrants him getting the bulk of the playing time? Nothing at all. There's no question Geo is a better long term answer. However, for this year, I think many of us have seen enough. only, soto has been better this year. That's not saying much when you're hitting .212. He needs a break.

  13. Per CSN. I'm sure will see confirmation soon. Geo had better use this off season to get in shape and stay away from the ganja. I can't say the move bothers me but it's sad to see how far Geo has fallen.
  14. Oh, without question.. His presence has done wonders for this team. I can only hope we sign him to an extension before he becomes a free agent again. The amount of teams that will want him is going to cause a bidding war.
  15. Welcome to 4 back in the loss column with 35 to play. I said it yesterday that if we get to 2 back in the loss column (Only 2 to go to get there), we'll all be set up for the kick in the nuts that we're all used to. Or we can quote Lou Brown and: "Win the whole [expletive] thing".
  16. Sorry if the thread title offends, you. or you could just get over yourself. or not. its your choice. Never happen. The one thing that is a constant on this board are the attack poodles that come to the defense of Soriano and Bradley to no end. Let them bring it.
  17. The Cubs are actually only 5 back in the loss column. I don't want to get sucked back in in two weeks if we're like 2 back in the loss column, only to see us choke.
  18. Oh, I know. It would have to be prospects and I agree about him probably not clearing wavers.
  19. Oh, like I said. Carry on there, Dex. except you used rbi's and batting average to show that he hasn't hit I didn't feel the need to post all of his sorry ass stats. If you have watched the Cubs all year, you aleady know.
  20. Oh, like I said. Carry on there, Dex.
  21. What a tremendous asset he has been for the Cubs.
  22. Why has Milton Bradley been a dissapointment? I can't wait to hear this.
  23. Bradley is the best. I'm so glad we have this sack of [expletive] for 2 more years. He's gonna bounce back HUGE next year!! GO CUBS AND GO BRADLEY!!! Woo hoooo!! 2010 baby!!!
  24. do you really not realize that the people who make fun of you aren't milton bradley apologists, but rather are making fun of you for your usage of a meaningless statistic like rbi's? yes, bradley has been a big dissapointment, but there are numbers out there that actually show that. rbis do not. Oh, I see kinda you missed the batting avg and HR part of the equation. Not to mention his sad attitude. But yea, carry on. batting average. also important. No, not at all.
